And now the GM is leaving of her own accord, because she doesn't want to work with ownership anymore because they have too much say. This goes back to the Jeter days where he left for similar reasons. There are non-baseball people making baseball decisions there. At least Henry attempts to hire baseball people and then lets them hang themselves after 4 years and a few losing seasons. There's no way Henry would have let Ng walk out that door without an extension after getting into the playoffs. It's really embarrassing for Marlins fans right now. They aren't happy.

Well JH did get rid of DD after 4 winning seasons, and one year removed from a WS title. You don’t think other perspective candidates wouldn’t notice that?

At least I’m right once in awhile. Bloom being a bad hire, Kike being a bad resigning, Sale being a bad resigning, and calling for Jansen a year before they actually signed him. Like I said it wasn’t that hard.

You forgot to mention you wanted casas benched right before he got hot, then a month later called him "my guy, Casas."

Oh no! DD must have left the organization in a great spot! Good farm system? No bad long term contracts?

That's how affable Casas is. You can be pissed off at him, but turn that opinion around on a dime because of how good natured he is.

The "next guys" don't look at that. Like Red, they only see wins and losses with no context. That's why they get jobs like GMs. and we don't.

Oh man, Ben Cherington left in 2015 after winning a WS! May want to rethink going through with this interview for a position I've been working towards for years and years and years. May as well wait another few years for my opportunity to come around!

I didn’t want Casas benched. I wanted him back In Worcester. My guy should have been in green, but it was funny watching you pounce, and still do.

God you're annoying. At least own up to it.

What was funny was you calling him "my guy," and no you were not joking.

My guy should have been in green....

Funny how when I "pounced," you never said you were joking, then.

Funny how predictable you are to flip the script when exposed.

He can't ever admit it. He must think admitting even a typo is some sort of sign of weakness.

I once exposed him outright lying about a post someone else made, not me. i called him our several times, and he just kept doubling and tripling down that I said it.

He never admitted the mistake, let alone apologize for it or the double downs.

Casas was my guy, Kike was my guy, Duran was my guy, and last but not least Bloom was my guy.

So, now you are saying you should not have put that in green?

You flip more than Flipper.

Maybe they already have. Except Kennedy, whose job it is to always fabricate a process to mislead the masses.

Then we’re good…

Seems like the hang ups of the decliners are the turnovers of the job itself the past 10 yrs, or so, and the infrastructure of the front office now. Both understandable.

Just hire Romero and move on…

Romero becomes GM. Cora becomes CBO in a few years to oversee the whole operation.

I'd be fine with that, but it's not much of an image of "change" for the masses down on "the corner."
