Enmanuel Valdez has announced on his IG that he’s been called-up to the majors.

 

He’s been off to a slow start this year, but has a .256/.323/.472/.795 with 18 HR in 93 games at AAA.

 

Looks like Arroyo is likely landing on the IL because of his hamstring.

Brasier was the the "hold your nose" guy. Ort was a guy who seemed obvious to sneak through waivers. Hamilton didn't really hit in AA, doesn't have a good glove but great speed. Can't you find speed UTIL guys pretty easily? It's not THAT hot of a commodity.

On the Soxprospects last podcast they talked about his, and despite his hot start they were very concerned with his swing and approach and how it would translate to the MLB level.

 

The biggest knock was his arm, which they’re grading as a 30, which is well below average.

 

Still, given his performance, I would have been ok giving him a shot and moving him to 2nd where his arm won’t be as big of a concern.

Your post was good as well. I didn't remember what exactly they had said about Hamilton on the podcast. I believe Ian mentioned that his EV was up, but that the batted ball profile was still poor.
