We have a teacher at my school who is late everyday, misses mandatory meetings and is late or fails to do required paperwork on a regular basis.

 

I always say he gives me a great sense of job security.

Really strange to see the Yanks just not show up. IKF and Lemahieu were hot garbage defensively. Really strange from one gold glover and another gold glove contender. You had pitchers who’ve been sharp missing corners and leaving pitches down the middle. You’ve got batters who did nothing vs Ort, Sawamura and Brasier, three guys who aren’t very good. Just a weird game today, the likes of which we haven’t seen the Yanks play pretty much all year

He sticks with his platoon strategy regardless of small sample streaks, that makes perfect sense.

 

If Refsnyder keeps hitting both lefties and righties his PA's will continue to increase.

The big thing was Taillon being unable to hold a 6-2 lead. The rest you can just file under s**t happens.

The Yankees had a 4 game sweep in reach, but watched the last two games go slip, sliding away. Taillon couldn’t hold the lead, and Cole did his usual Fenway performance. The Yankees vaunted BP didn’t look so good either, and the Sox actually got a lot of clutch hits. If anything it showed the Sox can play head to head with theses guys.

We were visiting my American wife’s parents in Hot Springs, but I managed a cunning plan of stopping off in Boston for the weekend and seeing 2 games at Fenway.

It was a true life highlight for me.

I have written to John Henry and explained the influence I have had, and suggested to him that it’s in the teams best interests for him to ensure that I am at Fenway for all future home games against Yankees.
