As a fielder and base runner he is but he needs more seasoning as a hitter. He has hit for power at Worcester though.

Here's a secret that I'm willing to share. The majority of HP chUMPS suck.

 

Home plate umping does mean deciding if a 95-100mph pitch touched any part of an invisible box of varying size. If you’ve upped even Little League, you know it ain’t easy.

 

And that’s why MLB needs Angel Hernandez. His sole purpose is to make all the other umps look better…

At least two. Somebody named Shaun Jeter had a forgettable brief cup of coffee with the White Sox in 1992 while Johnny Jeter played 6 mediocre seasons with several clubs in the early 70s.

Its going to cost the Sox a lot to keep him but they have to. He is the cornerstone of the franchise. It its either him or Bogie, I choose Devers and I love X.
