@BeyondtheMnstr

The Braves released infielder Brock Holt per his request, he will become a free agent.

C'mon, Bloom... Do somethin...

He can play OF, but he bats lefty.

The Brock Star is always welcome in Fenway in my book…

Bringing back ex-Sox players seems to be popular.

If we traded Arroyo or Duran, I could see bring Brock back.

Any particular reason?

And he’s just more loved than anyone. Even Raymond…

The only loved characters on that show were Debra and Frank.

I'd go: Debra > Brock > Frank

Maybe that’s why I didn’t compare Brock to them.

Although more likely I have no idea who any of them are since I never watched the show…

Watching Shaw a few times this ST, he looks overweight . He knows he's at the end of a limited career and is eating the spread to save his meal money

His days of getting 150 starts are over. But he will see MLB time off and on. He does have the advantage of not demanding a lot of money to play, and a lot of teams like that...

He needs to go the way of the dinosaur!

To an island off the coast of Costa Rica, where he can feast upon scientists, lawyers, and Wayne Knight?

Travis Shaw might be ok with that…

Reports are that his bat speed is way down. Would be a shame to DFA someone just to get him on the 40 man.

@alexspeier

Both Xander Bogaerts and Rafael Devers said they had extension talks with the Red Sox in recent days, but barring a very unexpected development, neither expects an extension prior to Opening Day, and neither wants to discuss contracts in-season

One big hangup could be what position you pay these guys at. Bogey as a SS, or 2B/3B, and Raffy as a 3B, or 1B/DH. Each position gets paid different.

Like we can't replace Ralphie, if Shaw sputters?

White Sox deal Kimbrel to LAD for AJ Pollock.

Reports say the Red Sox were also inquiring about the RH'd Pollock, Makes me wonder, if Bloom is working on a deal, as teams look to trim their rosters.

Given the crowded Seattle outfield, the righthanded bat of right fielder Steven Souza Jr. could be available after the nearly 33-year-old veteran pounded his third homer of spring Monday.

Or not.:)

Diekman had a great outing today: 2/3 of an inning, NO runs allowed!!!!! This guy is locked in!

Locked into throwing a maxed out 85 mph fastball is all I see.

Could be just the type Bloom swoops on.
