Kutter Crawford continues to look like a guy who will get serious consideration for the 40 man roster: 5 IP, 2 ER, 0 walks, 7 strikeouts. He continues his trend of excellent ratios--he doesn't walk many batters. I wonder how he profiles as a reliever?

I was thinking this morning about how much soxprospects.com site kind of sucks. No updates on K.Crawford and his future as a reliever or starter and nothing on Downs -- what is he doing wrong? How are the Red Sox trying to fix him? Actually, soxprospects has a lot of useful information but they don't have some of that inside information that I would like to know about....alas.

Bello continues to be interesting, very interesting: 5.1 IP with 11 strikeouts! He clearly has dominant stuff but he is still learning how to pitch. He continues to demonstrate an impressive ceiling, probably the best starting pitcher prospect in the Red Sox system.

Soxprospects.com is always looking for writers with no pay.

Tyler McDonough was promoted to Salem too and he hasn't been in the lineup either.

@alexspeier

Casas talked to @GwashburnGlobe about his Olympics experience. He was ... strikingly disappointed in not winning the gold.

Yorke needs to be promoted and that way they can get McDonough in there at 2nd. Marrero that is playing and some DH, should be demoted, kid is terrible with a bat, swings out of his shoes on every swing and rarely even makes contact. Blaze should be in the lineup to see what all the hype is about if he's healthy.

McDonough was signed for his utility. He'll play all over the field. There's enough dead weight on the Salem roster to give AB's to Jordan and McDonough good run even if Yorke stays. Yorke should be promoted though. Cannon was promoted to Portland so there's a spot for Yorke in Greenville.

@SoxProspects

Outfielder Jhostynxon Garcia went 2-for-4 with a double (5), and an RBI (10) in the Red Sox Blue 7-2 loss today. The 18-year-old has slashed .271/.377/.441 this season over 70 plate appearances.

Pronunciation: jo-STINKS-on

We're looking down the barrel of a gun loaded with horrible misspellings as this guy gets promoted up the ladder. They need to trade him before this gets too silly.

That is funny. Mike Andrews = the last of the big spenders.

It is also funny (and disingenuous) when soxprospects does its donation drive and claims they will turn soxprospects into a paid site if they don't receive enough funds. Yeah, OK, make it a paid site and I'm sure there are millions and millions of people just waiting to pay for information on Red Sox prospects that they can get elsewhere on the Internet (for the most part). LOL

BTW, if people are interested, Over the Monster was looking for writers. Unlike soxprospects, I believe Over the Monster does pay its writers. Here is the link:

When you’re popular you literally have to pay to take ads off your site, their traffic is way up.

For prospect loving folks, Sox fans have something in Soxprospects no other organization has. Literally…no one.

And so many Sox fans are completely jealous of their success for some weird reason.

Maybe Seabold is not ready, yet.

Tonight: 5 IP 8H 4ER 1BB 6K

Brasier: 1 IP 0H 0ER 1BB 0K

Munoz 3-5 (2B)

Meneses 2-5 (2B)

Downs 0-4, Wong 0-3

Dearden hit his 15 HR w Greenville

Yorke 2-4 w Salem

Wu-Yelland lit up

Nothing to say about the big club but bad things.

Is Muñoz oks again? Call him up already!

We didn’t make moves in the TD, fine! Use our best assets in minors. We have to do something.

If we need Munoz to get us over the hump, we might as well tank for a better draft pick.

That being said, I'd try it. DFA Santana.

He's not moving the needle, but it'd be dropping dead weight.

Nice to see Brasier get some work in. If he was here all year, I bet our record would be a bit better.

Agreed. I do think the throw s*** against the wall and see what sticks philosophy fails more than it succeeds.

You might ask, how can it fail anymore than what Dalbec is doing? Well, look at Santana, Chavis, Cordero, Duran, Arauz...

2021 OPS

.655 Dalbec

.625 Arauz

.595 Duran

.566 Marwin

.544 Santana

.549 Chavis

.517 Cordero

(Yes, 3 splat against the wallers are doing even worse than Marwin!)

You may be adding Munoz to that list, shortly.

Maybe not.

Like I said, I'd call him up. A little more s*** on the wall can't hurt. It can't smell any worse.

The fact is, has any s*** we threw at the wall not stunk?

We are like 0 for 5, and we keep thinking the 6th guy will work.

But Munoz gets at least one hit every game!

Duran was nothing compared to Munoz!

I liked what I saw from Munoz last season. I thought he was going to be on the 40 man at some point. Probably should have started in BOS on 4/1 instead of Cordero? IDK.

Over his last 10 games:

15 hits :)

16 total bases

I liked him, too, and was surprised they DFA'd him, and even more surprised no GM claimed him.

I think Cordero starting 4/1 made sense. I still have not given up on Cordero or Dalbec down the road.

I'd call up Munoz, DFA Santana and demote Arauz, today.
