Here's the problem, Red Sox game, Celtics game, and Final Four games overlap per viewership.

SOLUTION: The Final Four match up of Loyola vs. Michigan which begins at 6:09 p.m. ET, goes up on the big screen in my living room and will remain tuned in to the second game, Villanova vs. Kansas.

In the meantime, I'll have the 6:10 ET Sox game showing on my Tablet.

And, finally, the 7:30 ET Celtics game will be viewed via my laptop.

Happy Easter everyone!

You forgot the best team of the bunch. Although they are playing earlier (now) they have been the best team in hockey since November.

I have a similar problem, minus the Celtics. Any sports event with Jim Nantz on the call gets priority in my mind

Multi-screen function. So I got a Blues game on the right and on the left, I watch Sandoval make a really slick play on the RS nickel! (And a base hit!) Edited by jad

That's why God invented the DVR...

The DVR is indeed a beautiful thing.

The ability to fast forward through commercials is priceless.

See this is why you guys should do what I do, and not give a crap about the NBA or college sports. That way you can watch your Red Sox without worrying about what else is going on in the world!

Amen. When the Red Sox are playing, there is no other sport or game.

Baseball and golf all day, it's a beautiful thing.

Next Sunday will be disastrous. Just golf, no baseball for me. Never mess with Masters Sunday

Next weekend is a semi-sacred day for the golfers of the world.

That is blasphemy.

The worst for me is when MLB is in playoffs, football season is under way, and NBA season has started for me, some of those Sundays are wild and will have all three of my teams playing.

Golf is a very maddening and amusing sport to play. Watching golf? I'd say it's half that.

This. Planning and a good DVR system is key! haha. Red Sox front and centre. Bruins/Flyers on DVR, Blue Jays/Yankees on channel flip, Cub/Marlins video game summary on the app. Weather here brutal (like, January brutal here in Western Canada on Easter weekend and all this week) and kids all away so lots of time in my basement at my bar (2 delicious draft beers on tap from local micros). Next weekend gets a little trickier with the Masters, but again good planning and a good DVR system will be key!

The LPGA tournament yesterday was unbelievable. The girls can play! I've never seen so many clutch putts made, I don't think.

Actually, I come close to that. I follow one college basketball team, which starts fall practice in October and has their first game in November which rarely conflicts with the WS or, in the case of 2014-17, the ALDS. Come spring, March Madness rarely conflicts with the Sox regular season even when my team gets to the final four (last 2 years). What this also means, however, is that my blogging tends to be seasonal.

I follow the Patriots and Celtics (of whom I once was a devoted fan, going back to the Bob Cousy era) only at a distance and the Bruins not at all.

Saturday night, I went to a local pub, watched NCAA and the Sox side by side.

Yesterday, I went to another pub, watched the Sox, Cubs and Houston Open side by side by side.

Gotta spend a little, drink a little.

It sounds like torture. Keep up the good fight!

The 70-year-old woman I play with, who has only been playing a year and a half, beats me and even outdrives me often enough that I don't need any further evidence that girls can play!

Haha! Good job!

I really don't get into all those other sports. I did when I was younger, but currently don't have the time to devote that much time to sports. I spend enough time on baseball as it is.

You are so right there and they probably are under appreciated by a majority of people. I have been involved with athletics of one sort or another all my life and when we had two daughters one of my good friends thought that we should go for number 3 hoping for a boy for obvious at that time reasons. My response to him was why - I was pretty sure that those two girls growing up in our household would love most things sports related. They were and still are great athletes and now are raising our 5 grandchildren in homes that understand the great benefits that being invlolved in athletics can provide. 3 girls 2 boys by the way. We could not be happier. Over Easter my 6 year old wanted to show me his basketball skills and I plan to be there when he pounds out his first home run in little league some day. Great fun! Oh - by the way my Mother in Law used to hit her irons the same distance I hit mine. I was proud of her but I tried not to tell her what I was hitting on certain holes. lol

Right on CP.

Watching your kids (and I'm sure grandkids) play sports is something special. And very nerve wracking. LOL

You think so? Joan Benoit won the first ever Olympics Marathon for women in 1984 after undergoing arthroscopic surgery a month before. Her time was 2:24:52, which would have won all men's Olympics marathons thru 1948. In 1952 her time would have been second only to the great Emil Zatopek. In 1956 her time would have gotten another gold model. The men only truly got better in 1960 when Abebe Bikila came in around 2:15. What women athletes do not lack is determination.

I didn't want to offer any tidbits of wisdom based on this quote which I have read many times but oh well - You are 100% correct. What can be really amusing is what defines a hacker. Now that one is particularly relative.

Nice - a little Maine - Bowdoin College girl. Humble and tough. She also serves as a pretty good example to young people today that specializing simply in one sport may not be so hot after all. She was a multi sport athlete.
