In response to the last two funny posts, I thought it was just fans who thought this way.

"He's due" I would say and sometimes the commentator would say.,..

I had a guy I played with who would intentionally stay at 1st after hits during blowouts because he didn't want to use up his extra base hits in blowouts.
LOL! There have been some strange superstitions, but that one ranks pretty high.

That's amazing.

He could be oh for 100 in ST'ing, and he'd still be my number 40.

Mookie skipped the cross town game today to take some extra batting practice.

I'm not worried about him either, but I do think it's starting to weigh on his mind.

A comment he made the other day that he wish he knew what was wrong also leads me to believe this 0-fer is weighing on his mind.

He needs to get a hit so he will feel better.

bogearts,bennintendi,and devers are hitting great.

this years difference makers? i think so....good to see them off to a great start

It must be all that protection they're getting from JD.

castillo is doing pretty good.makes me wonder if he might become worth something in a trade? i know its a long shot but wouldn't it be great if we could get a starting pitcher for him or a decent prospect.getting out from under with him would be enough

Now I may be the biggest Mookie fAn here ....with that said he's human .The man has put Aton of pressure on himself let's face that right now .Mookie and JD are the offense thump ....Players such as Xander absolutely need to start hitting for more power this year ....I have been pissed at Xs development at the plate ....they neutered the kid ...chili neutered .The Blake swihart train starts and ends with this also ....Blake has POP there's no denying it and Sam Travis has POP ....Blake is playing LF tonight can play numerous positions and can also throw a baseball near 100 mph .Blake Swihart catching and a full season with Nuney is one hell of an improvement in my opinion to the offensive fire power ...Sam Travis should have been given a 1b glove and reps last year the minute Mitch got hurt ...Sam Travis should be given a spot on this team also .We need POP we play at Fenway Park and the AL east we need guys who can change a game in one swing ..Blake ,Sam ,Nuney ....These guys only help Mookie become the guy we know he can be that much quicker ...Folks Cora has thump on this team right now but he has to have the nuts and plan to utilize these men ... They can and they should do this ...it will take a package deal though I think and eating some not all that contract .I think this kid can play and places like Sandiego ,KC,Atlanta ,Cincy as places that should look at Rusney Castillo as a bargain with his talents .I wish we had a spot for him honestly . Rusney's biggest selling has been his defense in his brief time in the majors. But his contract makes him tough to Move wIthout taking back someone also making money, Erich in turn threatens to put the Sox over the limit for the next penalty. ..

Yeah I don’t know how we won. We left all our best players on the bench (JD, Betts).

as you would say - hmm - it's only spring training. Cora says he will give them protection. I like Cora.

I don't think it's a manager's job to hand out condoms.

My oh my Moon that just is not right. lol

Next thing you know you will be trying to tell me that John Henry was responsible for Sandoval's, Castillo's, and Ramirez's contract and not whats his name. John Henry is the boss after all! lol again.

I finally got to see Workman throw today. His mechanics looked clean and his ball had more life on it than pre surgery.

Could be a valuable piece in our pen if he keeps progressing.

here's a good article on devers if anyone missed it.

PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. -- With an 0-2 count in his first at-bat on Tuesday, Rafael Devers wouldn't have been wrong to expect a waste pitch aimed at trying to get him to chase. But Devers, at just 21 years old, is training himself to be ready for anything -- provided it

i've been waiting for him since they signed him in 2013(15 y/o).he was never part of the hype machine most prospects are to up there trade value.he was always a 100% keeper.

i liked the pick when they got him and i've followed him ever since but he has struggled.i'd love to see him develop into something.

It is good to see Ball out there. It's at least the second time he has been out there.
