I love the pictures as well. It helps me realize the fact that David Price is actually a Red Sox player. I thought I was dreaming for 3 months. It also reminds me how close I am to the start of my quest to atone for last year's atrocity, even though it was -12 when I woke up yesterday. I cannot wait for baseball season. I have a new bat that is called the Air Force One. It's covered in Stars and Stripes. Making the school team will make my year.

I agree. I have a feeling Vazquez is going to make it difficult for the Sox to keep him in AAA, if they send him there to begin with.

I don't have a lot of confidence in Hanley's ability to play 1st base, but so far, he has done everything that has been asked of him. He at least seems to have the right attitude about it all. We'll keep our fingers crossed.

Physically and athletically, I think he is perfectly capable. My concern is whether he will be mentally enough in the game not to make a bunch of bonehead plays.

 

I am very confident that he will rebound offensively.

Keeping him closer to the action should keep his mind from wandering. He also has spent his whole life fielding grounders at SS, not fly balls. He should be way better.
