Back in the day it was Eddie Andleman, and the Sports Babe and their cast of characters.

Look em up--a popular radio show out of Boston for about 35 years.

Icons...like Red Sox and Cheers.

Sully from Winchester has more info on the Sox than that dumb press conference anyway.

Where does Notin from Chicago rank?

I honor of Click and Clack, I wonder if the Car Talk guys could figure out what went wrong with the '26 Sox.

"Well, it sounded something like this... er er er errrrr errrr er er er err vrooooom vroooooooom eeeeeeeeeeeee craaaaash..."

They would have created a metaphorical analogy and tie it to the failure of a CVT.

“Are you sure it was a crash? Normally the ‘26 Red Sox just sort of sputters out and stalls, usually when it gets colder.  That ‘vroom vroom’ tells me you were riding the bullpen too hard, probably out of necessity.  Maybe add some OBP next time and ease up on the pen.”

I blame on the hot summer temps affect on the wooden bats.

Misiorowski only went 4.1 IP and Skubal only threw 81 pitches. Should I be yelling at Tracy over this?

No, but maybe the posters who say that you should look to be cheap up and down the batting order and go into the playoffs with 7 aces acquired via the budget savings from prioritizing defense on a min wage contract at multiple lineup positions.

I guess they are helping us because if they were non aces (avg starting pitchers) and they were getting pulled in the 3rd of a 3-0 game, wed have to listen to Fred tell us its over in the third inning. So I guess at least breslows master plan spares us of that.

Say what you want about the remaining teams and their lack of longball power and cite regular season stats and rankings all day.

But the home runs they are hitting are huge reasons why they're winning. Ramirez in the ALDS, DeLauter and Bailey last night, and Wild Bill Contreras and Turang in the NLCS. The defending champs are down 0-2 and have zero HRs.

Even Brez acknowledges the importance of HR in the postseason.

yet he appears to be disinclined to do anything about it.

It's an expensive fix and he still values pitching and defense more.
