He’s thrown lots of pitches that have resulted in ground balls.  Some have been outs and some have been base hits.

That was the 76th batter he has faced with the bases loaded in his career and the second grand slam he has allowed.

This team can’t hit to save their lifes. JH wanted to play Moneyball at offense and fell out flat. This was an embracement. It’s fair to say the Sox are the weakest team in the POs.

9-0 or 1-0. What's the difference. In both cases it's obvious this 2026 Sox team has one of the worst offenses I've seen in the 60 plus years that I've followed this team.

Baseball doesn’t work that way though. If you enter the 8th inning with 1 run deficit, the mentality on both teams are not the same. This is a situational game.

I think the morale is totally different. With a 1-0 you think you still can make it. With a 9-0? Feels like the sky is falling.

Bogaerts posts up unlike Story who has been a complete waste of money.  The Sox have done more than their share of wasting money on bad contracts and the guys they have wasted it on don’t even take the field.
