He's a good catcher. I think the expectations on him weren't fair.

He was in the ASG 3 straight seasons, including this one.  We should have been expecting another Narvaez?

I’ll be at this game. Hopefully they can remember how to play good baseball and electrify the home crowd.

Good for you.  Sox fans at Fenway have been awesome this season.

He may have been cleared by a hand specialist, but he wasn’t, and isn’t ready to hit ML pitching.

He wasn't cleared by a hand specialist????

I expect to see Bello on the mound tonight.   See he returned from Worcester his ERA has been by far the lowest on the team.   2 ER's in 22.3 IP.

Jones, White, Monasterio, and Sogard with Alec Gamboa pitching?  All at once?  Shades of the ‘27 Yankees!

That’s like taking out Babe Ruth of the’27 Yankees and replacing him with a bigger, scarier Babe Ruth-eating Babe Ruth…

Abreu the only Sox lefty bat vs Arizona's lefty starter Bratt.  Plus Duran due day off.  Bratt's ERA vs lefties is 5.59.  Bratt is young, 23, but 12 days ago he went 7 scoreless innings vs San Diego.

Or it's like taking out a Baby Ruth and then replacing it with a Snickers.

He’s better than what we had but he’s no savior

We had a catcher who was good defensively, but couldn't hit. He's been replaced by a good defensive catcher who can't hit. So it was an even trade, except for the other 4 prospects that the Sox threw in.

Was th problem with this team that we didn't have a light-hitting back-up catcher?

AR career OPS+: 114

CN career OPS+: 81
