The Mets at home are still a decent team, and we face McLean and Peralta the first two games.  I'd be very happy taking 2-3.  Very happy.

The Mets are 21-25 at Home. Peralta has not been good this season.

The best thing about this series is that people on here will be forced to see how bad Vientos really is and they will stop requesting to trade for him.

Will be lucky to take 2 out 3 this weekend. Do we even know the plan for Saturday? Tolle on four days rest on Sunday? As well as the Sox are playing this break is coming at a good time! Without Contreras the team will struggle to score runs (Yesterday is a perfect example). Pitching, defense, and average offense has been the key to the recent streak! Need another big game from Gray on Friday. Hold the Mets down and go deep into the game to save the pen for the weekend because they will be needed both days.

well fortunately, the redsox are the perfect foil (except Saturday) for the mets. the mets can't pitch and the sox can keep the mets bats quiet......if it is bello Saturday at least he will be motivated

Yeah, I don't care about having to go LHP --> RHP, just get me a guy who can get me through the top of the order the first time. Weissert is great with a clean inning.

Even though I am starting to like this team a little more, I still think they should trade Sonny, Chapman and Duran for as many good to great prospects as they can. They have to be smart. I just don't see the Sox winning a playoff series but its not impossible if Crochet and Ranger come back and they keep hitting a little. I would hold on to Willson because he is signed for next season at a reasonable salary and he provides some much needed power. I love Sonny and Chapman but their value should be super high right now for the contenders.

He's on the IL, but of course you never make mistaken points. LOL.
