This one should not be on Suarez alone. Weissert let 2 inherited runners score and Guerrero gave it away allowing 2 runs.

Abreu's crappy AB in the 9th didn't help

Did you ever see the movie Clockwork Orange? There's a scene that describes how it's done.

Of course I saw it. Great flick. Now I understand how people watch the FLOPS. I can't do it unless I have toothpicks holding my eyelids open.

Agreed. One guy shouldn't get all the discredit.

It was a great flick and the last good movie Malcolm McDowell was ever in.

Ranger’s last 4 starts innings pitched.

4.0

5.1

4.1

5.0

He hasn’t given up many runs in that span, but he’s got to go longer than that.

He looked weak after WBC but started to be effective. Your IP list shows that isn't helping much.

But look at it this way. Only 4 more seasons after this one.

Would not hesitate to make him available in a bigger trade

Tayron Guerrero is simply not a Major League pitcher.  And Tracy keeps bringing him in for close games and watching him push the lead just past the Sox late rally.

I’d rather see Ryan Watson than Guerrero…

Building him up as trade bait. Look at that power arm !

Bulletin just in--- Abreu is not a great hitter. He chased 2 balls before bouncing to pitcher.

No great hitter has ever done that before…

Blue Thunder?

Also, Clockwork Orange was a cheesy adaptation at best.  And when ranking Malcolm McDowell movies, it falls behind Tom and Jerry Meet Sherlock Holmes

Good ol' Vaughn Grissom tearing it up for LAA. .645 OPS but 15 RBIs and 2 HRs in just iver 100 ABs on another terrible team.

Grissom did hit a GS tonight for Angels.

There really must be something wrong when players get to Boston

Calling a Kubrick movie cheesy?  Sacrilege.

1. Agreed. There is no Tayron Guerrero in MLB. It's Tyron Guerrero. https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/gl.fcgi?id=guerrta01&t=p&year=2026

2. 3.62 FIP

Extend IKF's contract or trade him while he's hot.

Oh no you definitely trade him.

Not like you're going to get anything great for him but you'll get something decent.  Plus glove with a .720 OPS up the middle this year.....that will get you something.

You play him at SS for the time being, and send Mayer, and DUBin down to WOO to learn how to hit.

No, when the players are here, fans focus on everything they do wrong.  But when they move on, the same folks focus on everything they do right.

Grissom’s OPS is only .686, but somehow he’s a great hitter now?

I don't think rival executives will be fooled by his current OPS.

Probably because he’s hitting better than the lightweights DUBin, and Mayer.

The team gives up on them almost as fast as fans do…

The problem with Grissom was that he had no options remaining and the Sox didn't want to commit to giving him a bench role. They didn't like his defense and didn't know where to play him. He's at the corners for LAA. A RHB with 92 wRC+ at 3b? 👀He's at least outhitting Monasterio. An IF bench of IKF/Grissom would have been fine.

I think anyteam trading for him is trading for his glove primarily, it's not like a .720 OPS is great but it's not absurdly higher than his career avg and teams will always try to catch lightening in a bottle....especially for a two month stretch.

Mayer 551 OPS vs RHP. 😮‍💨
