Yesterday's pitching matchup lived up to its billing. Drohan is a recent call-up, so he's a wild card.

With Drohan being a lefty, could we see this?

1. L Anthony DH

2. R Rafaela CF (maybe Durbin or Story or go with LHB Duran?)

3. R Contreras 1B

4. L Abreu RF

5. R Story SS

6. L Duran LF

7. R Narvaez C

8. L Mayer 2B

9. R Durbin 3B

So, Story shows a little life and gets the day off.

Same ole Cora.

(Same day Mayer gets a day off, although vs a LHP, I'm okay with that.)

Story has the day off? DH is a part day off.🤔

Two off days in one series for Duran. Crazy.

I bet they'll get him in the game once Drohan is finished.

Opps, my mistake.

(See how easy it is to admit one. Try it sometime.)

It's only 10 PAs vs LHPs, but Abreu is at 1.000 with that split.

I think Duran is now the one who will be sitting vs many lefties going forward, if any LHBs sit.

Duran used to be the guy who posted every day. It's just wild to have him sit so much because they couldn't figure out the roster this offseason.

Of all the batters Miz was making mizerable, Duran looked like he just decided to swing at everything and hope a pitch would hit his bat. None of his swings and misses were at pitches even in the zone.

Today AC had mercy on OB, so we wouldn' have to hear: DrOhan fans DUran.

Isiah Kiner-Falefa has been even worse. He’s also received a whopping eight plate appearances this season, and a -58 wRC+ is all he has to show for it. The team committed $6 million to the veteran journeyman during the offseason and it looks now like that could be wasted money.

Breslow to Henry...."Yes, but I was smart enough only to give a guy a one year deal".

Drohan has no command today, but the Sox are unable to do anything about it.

Dont worry , we have IKF coming up this next inning.

He may put in a more professional AB than some of the guys in front of him. At least Narvaez and Durbin were able to work the count a bit.

If a guy is in his MLB debut is having trouble finding the plate, don't swing at the first strike!

I just feel like I'm taking crazy pills following this dumb team.

I'm really not being sarcastic about the Sox, but I've actually seen better line-ups on DRAGNET.

Ironically, when Dragnet was aired on TV, LA had the crookedest law enforcement in the world.

Jack Webb was known to hang with many shady individuals.

7 ABs, so I not overly concerned.  And we didn't hire him for his bat.

But that was a nice bunt.  I always like when the bunter can put some pressure on the defense, even in an obvious bunting situation.

Now we have to hope that Gray hasn't cooled off in that long half-inning.

I love having gray on the mound.  I had to respond to an E-mail, and by the time I finished, he had already retired the side.
