Our offense is not great w/o Anthony, that's for sure.

We need Abreu to run into one tonight.

This is where the Sox are really missing a big bat like Anthony/Devers. Either of those guys would be difference makers in this series.

Yes, they have both been replaced by B line-up players.

How are you getting tickets?  I’ve seen multiple stories they’re only selling to folks with billing addresses in NY, NJ, CT and PA.  And probably not even all of PA…

I live in CT

EDIT.  I also used a 3rd party service "Seat Geek" I'm not sure how the Yankees can control who SeatGeak, Stub hub, and ticket master sell too.

I'm not saying you're wrong, I heard that too, I'm just wondering how they did it.

Masa is a b lineup guy?

The OF is Duran/Rafaela/Abreu. Which of those guys is a b lineup guy?

Ummm....

Eaton started in RF game 1 & 2, so yes. . Ref started at DH game 1 and 2. Before he platooned in RF w Abreu. Besides, Yoshida was the back-up DH, until Devers was traded and for some time after that, too. (Yes, he hit like  C plan batter until the last week or two of the season.)

Stop.

Eaton was not even at third base when Chisholm caught the ball cleanly.  If Eaton was sent, he could easily have been thrown out at home.  Hudson had no way of knowing where Chisholm was going to throw the ball.  Holding Eaton was the safe move, especially with Story due up and Trevor had all the Sox RBIs and homered in his last at bat.

It just looked worse because Rice dropped the ball, but it’s not like it rolled 20 feet away.  Heck if Rice caught the throw cleanly, he might have had a chance to throw Eaton out, too.

Too many are blaming Hudson for not reading the Yankees’ players’ minds and for not knowing the future…

You missed the point. Abreu is a GG OF. Whether or not he could have made the play isn’t relevant. He should have been in RF.

Another mistake by Cora.

I didn’t mind Eaton there.  If I’m going to argue for Abreu playing, I think he should have started over Duran (with Eaton in LF)…

If he didn’t start Cora should have inserted him somewhere (replacing Duran would have been fine) in that close a game.

They don't control 3rd party tickets brokers like stub hub and seatgeek.  Any Red Sox fan can go on there and buy a ticket.

Actually, funny story, I never showed them my ticket.  It was in my email.  I literally just walked right into the stadium last night.  I didn't get ticketed until I was literally walking into my section.

Maybe they're just kicking out all the Sox fans in the right field bleachers and moving them to the left.  Left field was a mix, but right field was a sea of pinstripes all shouting slogans in harmony.  I could actually see how that can be an exciting experience for a fan base.....but they still ****** suck.

It was only a matter of time. I said the Sox needed to score early and they couldn’t even do that.

I know.  And that guy was only averaging 98mph on his fastball and only for 8 innings.

I mean 98mph seems fast.  But not when you realize it’s only 44 meters/second.  And if you can’t hit throwing 44, you dont belong in Little League, let alone MLB…
