Don't care for the mustache, huh?

No, just don't like pitchers who spoil a shutout with a first batter HR, then issues a 2 out walk. using 26 pitches to get 3 outs only due to Abreu 's great arm

He telegraphs his off speed stuff. He has to throw those pitches with the same arm action as his fastball.  All the changes is the forearm angle.

That’s fixable.

He's a long way off from being Big Show ready.

Never seen that before

Kirk is a fat, short beer leaguer who can hit but can't run. Kudos to Wilyer for seeing that, and a good pick by Lowe

He will never be successful until he learns that all pitches are delivered with fastball arm speed. It’s the grip, pronation and supination of the wrist that changes trajectory and speed

I would be very surprised if Tolle is part of the PO 26..

Agreed. His size and strength have served him well at the inferior levels but it will be exposed at the MLB level.

He is going to be a solid starter in the big leagues next year or the year after. The kid is a rookie. Give him some time.

I wouldn’t give up on him yet. He has good stuff.

If Crochet is the beast, what the hell is Judge?

I want the Yankees if we get in and get past the playoff wildcard.  I just worry about roman anthony not being back.

As much as I like Anthony even if he does come back in the middle of the PO's, how effective is he going to be? I think we should accept the fact that these current 13 offensive players will be the ones in the entire PO's.

I believe the Sox have as good a chance of winning the AL PO's as any other team. There's no great team in the AL this season.

Teams can come out of a bad slump at anytime. I'm sure Cora and the Sox realize that.

Yes, they are witnessing themselves.

A rare thing happened in MLB this season. No team will win 100 games. The Brewers a couple of weeks ago looked like a lock getting 100 or more wins.

Adding insult to injury, the Brewers are the only MLB team with a chance of finishing with a .600+ winning %.

You can't teach 100. He's young. With some good coaching he could become a force. Time will tell.

I have confidence in our rotation as well. Hopefully good bello shows up tomorrow.

The Yanks have now tied TOR for 1st in the ALE.

The Sox are 3 back with 4 to play, so hopes for passing TOR are near impossible. It is nice to even mention it with just 4 games left to the season.

It's good to see crooked numbers in multiple innings.

It's good to see Crochet looking like a Cy Young winner just when we need him to be.

We really need our trio to be in a groove to have a legit shot at going far, this year.

He hasn't been good in a while. Personally, I believe he's tired, either mentally or physically or a little of both. Hopefully, tomorrow he can prove me wrong.

I would not lose sleep over Anthony in the first round next week. When he is physically ready. he will be similar to Abreu. needing a week of play to catch up.

In a 1974 13 innings game Nolan Ryan threw 235 pitches against the Red Sox. He struck out 19.

Ryan was wimp that night.  El Tiante went the distance in a 15 inning loss.

Yup. It's been 4 games, now. Perhaps we can yank him after 3-4 innings and have him well rested for the playoffs.

Last 4 games: 5.85 ERA and 4.65 FIP.

We need him sharp.
