This team obviously sucks. Probably one of the worst teams in baseball since the ASB. The only question is how many more years of SUCKING the fans are going to have to put up with before they are competitive again. I am thinking 3-4 more years. Way too many bums to get rid of.

In past years, the minor league season ended right around Labor Day. I was at a local High-A game a couple weeks ago and noticed that the Midwest league season isn’t going to end until September 11; I just checked Worcester’s and they list games until September 28.

Brasier should have been cut in Spring Training. I said this and some here defended him, the rest is history.

 

Brasier is a bum and it won't change moving forward. Will be really surprised if Bloom does not DFA him tonight.

I think Wong and RHern have been alternating C/DH in WOO, so calling Wong up actually let's RHern get more reps at catcher. How much Wong plays might depend on DFA'ing Plawecki or not.

But when they begin to play brain dead baseball nowadays I turn the tv off.
