Possibly. I just went by the info supplied by the MLB schedule.

MLB.com lists Bello as the starter. I just heard rumblings of Low Leverage Davis being the opener tonight. We'll see.

I might be in that category.

Tom Glavine threw a few stinkers in 1987, but Bello has yet to have one promising start. Not that Bello is at all in that category, just saying that early bad performances do turn around.

I'm sure Brewers fans will be roaming the streets of Boston all weekend. Same thing happened when the Cardinals were in town. The fans of these NL teams that aren't here very often sure like to make a weekend out of it, especially in the summer. I kind of like it though. It's fun to watch tourists get on the wrong train, not realizing that only 3 of the 4 green line trains lead to Fenway.

Gold Glover at second (when my son was 8 and first collected cards, Yolmer was his first favorite player because of the white-framed shades)

It’s very hard to muster up even a little optimism with this line-up and SPer, but I’m feeling that winning vibe that has been rare, of late.

I’m calling a win.

Big news!

The Sox have signed the immortal Jose Peraza to a minor league deal.

The dumpster diving continues …..

JBJ is an artist in the OF. I doubt any other outfielder in MLB gets a better jump on the ball than JBJ. I'm pretty sure that's something that isn't coachable. It's a shame he's so unartistic at the plate.

The two teams that didn't have a win by a starter in a certain month did that during the months of April and September. Both of those months are shorter than July. Edited by SPLENDIDSPLINTER

I don’t see it. They have a good SP going and we have….RPs and trash for a lineup.

The good news is that after this weekend even the Sox mgmt will see the handwriting on the wall.

When he had those hot streaks, back in the day, he was going oppo field often. He’s lost that “ability.”

Don’t bet against my gut!

Duran is like a beer after a whisky shot---a chaser. Showing few signs of growth as a hitter

Showing NO signs of growth as a hitter.

And JD has lost it. Can’t catch up to a fastball any more.
