Anybody still want Bloom fired, or are we just keeping Swihart’s ghost alive?

Don't speak too soon. This season has a long way to go.

STORK has 1 post since July 4, so that says a lot. :D

Who wanted Casas traded?

You know who you are, so speak up!

Casas perfect example of letting young hitters develop by working thru slumps while playing at the ML level

Orlando surprised me with the Hernandez trade. A few arms that could surprise for dead weight, Trade Grade B

Where Orlando has failed is with pitching staff! I’ve said this multiple times, when you trade players like Renfro AB Betts Vazquez you need to acquire Young Pitching! Not positional Players that are to old for the level they are in (see every trade)

Wild card here is Cora! I’d sign him to an extension

Who are the Pink Hats who wanted Cora gone? Speak up!

Some classic quotes from the Stork...

The final Bloom season starting out with a bang! Predicted win loss record 73 89.

Garbage GM continues to bring in the garbage/ Team has not improved/ Up the middle is non existent/ Complete embarrassment to the fans/ Priceless

Duran for Berrios (editor notez: Berrios sucked for the remainder of those control yrs)

All ideas and opinions are welcome. Or should be.

I agree. I'm pretty sure I read Mad Stork's posts whenever they show up, and so far have incurred little or no mental or physical damage.

Allowed, yes.

Welcome? Why?

Different point of view. What I don't like is when we get into verbal battles filled with insults. I've been in a couple and regretted them.

In his latest (above), he commends Cora/Bloom for keeping Casas in the lineup and for sending Kike to the Dodgers.

He blames Bloom for not getting pitching, which I suspect a number of talksoxers would agree with. Wacha and Eovaldi are thriving this year on other teams. So is ERod. Kluber is not for the Sox. I am fine with Bloom because I do see progress and, more importantly, I believe John Henry has given him guidance on obtaining starting pitching.

Welcome? Why?

Because it is an open forum . And it can get pretty boring when it is just a small group of mostly like minded folks.

It’s not about his opinions. I’ll welcome any opinions.

Where's the line between ideas/positions and trolling?

Not even understanding what “pink hats” means and continually getting prospect ages and games played way wrong is annoying and a waste of time.

That is unwelcome to me.

What went poof was me watching baseball. I haven’t watched any baseball since sometime before the AS break. I keep track of things, and read all the box scores, but I just got tired of watching any more watered down baseball, which I had mentioned before, and which I believe MLB is, and has been for some time now. Glad to see the Red Sox are rolling, and my boy Casas is looking now like a real prospect. Gloated over Kike yes, because so many on here made him out to be so much better than he really was, which was a $10M waste for this year.

If the definition of trolling is to post something to elicit a reaction , provoke or just break balls ; then there is quite a bit of it on here. Usually mixed in with opinions. Some are more blunt while others are more subtle about it. How we feel about it often comes down to that old adage about whose ox is being gored. And none of it bothers me in the least. I don't even have an ox to be gored.

Hey $10mill for Kike isn’t a bad deal in a watered down league.

That's your take on things, and others aren't obligated to live by your book. Other posters don't like being called pink hats or disruptive bs, and that's fine. In my case, I'm just calling a spade a spade.

Yes.

Weird how baseball got “watered down” the second the Sox hired a successful GM he didn’t like…

"My boy Casas," lmao.

You refused to call him a prospect- only a "suspect," and just 3 weeks ago, you posted:

Casas, and Duvall doesn’t deserve to be in the lineup all the time, and neither does Kike.

6/26: "My eyes are good enough to tell me that Casas doesn’t have much of a clue on playing 1B, and while his hitting has improved he is not anyone I would want to give a long term Braves like contract to... All I’m saying is that there had better be a backup plan. What’s the backup plan at 1B outside of Turner for now?"

Next, you'll be saying you loved the Yoshida signing and felt it was a good money deal from day one.

Go back in hiding. It suits you better.
