With all that crap going on your probably right, if not for that a pick up of Judge would carry this team to the top of the AL east

If you think the Sox are one player away, why do you want Bloom fired?

Correa would cost more than Bogaerts

He is younger. Also more talented but less healthy, so there’sa trade-off that requires prioritization.

That's how horrible Bloom is! If he only got only one more player the team would have been fine, but nope he just wanted to rut in the mud with the other piggies in last place! Inconceivable!

Bloom must have thought JBJ was that 1 more player. How did that work out?

Correa is making $10 million more than Bogaerts is now a year

He should have traded Renfroe to the Yankees for Judge's expiring contract.

Bogey was not a FA, when he signed his extension.

Correa chose a higher salary over years, last winter.

I do not think their FA values are that far apart. Bogey is more steady at the plate. Correa is a better defender and "clutch," if you believe that stuff, but he is injured, often, and has been under .790 several seasons in the last 5-6 years.

I'd prefer Bogey, if the money and years are even, but it's a close call.

I think Correa gets more, so to those who think I hate on Bogey, too much, ponder that statement.

Hate is to strong a word that gets used to often. I don’t hate Bloom just , because I don’t like his hire, and criticize him often. I’m with you on Bogey, and no on Correa.

He’s quick to get rid of good players but holds onto players that shouldn’t even be in the show aka Dalbec, Cordero can you imagine those two in starter spots with 400 strike outs between them, think about this Cordero hasn’t had a minor league option since the spring of 2021, nobody claimed him

If he DFA'd Dalbec, how many teams would he pass through before being claimed?

I was talkin about the idea that I have been hating on Bogey.

I think the first or second team in line would take him, assuming they don't have a roser crunch. Usually, bad teams don't.

He still has promise.

Unlike posters, GMs do not assign value based on just the previous 300-650 PAs.

I think Dalbec would get claimed he’s younger than Cordero, he’s been around for 7 or 8 years but Dalbec and Cordero have the same disease they rake AAA pitching and can’t make contact consistently in the bigs

Not only did Dalbec rake in the minors, he walked a lot and had an OBP over .350.

Not in the bigs!

He’d get claimed.

Miguel Andujar got claimed, and hen hasn’t been relevant in 4 years. If you’re capable of reaching MLB and make no money, there is always some level of interest…

Yeah, we say they have holes in their swings, but they crush minor league pitching.

I think maybe major league pitching is the real problem...

You hit that nail on the head

The best way to perhaps make Dalbec a better MLB player is by having him play in a small market atmosphere.

You should limit your concern to 'Big Game' Cole going into the PO's.

I will very much enjoy watching my team in the playoffs this year. Very much. I cannot wait to watch my team play in the post season. It will be very, very fun

If they lose in their first round, a lot of us will have some difficulty recognizing your fun….

SWEPT by the Yankees and now pounded by the Orioles to the tune of 14 runs given up. I don't see how anyone can reasonably defend Bloom anymore at this point in time.
