I don't believe prior post season results are a great barometer for this year.

I don't either. But I do think 2016 and 2017 post-season results are a better barometer than 2013 post-season results, for what that's worth...

I do think Workman has the better temperament for these situations. As I said though, I'm willing to admit I am biased on this.

Well, yeah...

I don't know what to expect from Workman. I know that the Sox must not think too highly of him since he's on the shuttle rather than being firmly in the pen.

I like the way the starting pitching lines up, now it's just a matter of performance.

Am I the only one concerned by the longish layoff? I think the first two innings tomorrow night may be telling. If Sale shuts them down for 2, we're on our way; if not.... well, we're back in the swing of baseball, but we're already behind.

Leone will be starting first 2 games. With a lead, doubt they sub him.

Makes sense with Sale & Price going game 1 & 2.

Leon is not as great with our pen, so once the starter is removed, we may PH even with a lead. It's nice having Swihart as a 3rd catcher, so we can do this more easily.

Yanks don't run, so not worried about stolen bases. We should put pressure on Sanchez with our speed, it effects the Pitchers too.

Sandy is going to go off with the bat anyway.

Someone always comes out of nowhere in the Play-offs, would be nice if its Sandy. Hoped the rest helped him, he looked beat by end of season, with the bat.

I hate Kelly on the roster. He has sucked for months.

Obviously Cora does not think he needs LH relief arms at all in this series. I suspect he is right though there always comes a moment in a short series when your opponent knowing you don't have a LH arm to bring in haunts you.

All of the Yank's dangerous hitters are righties , except for Gregorius . No need for a lefty reliever . Anyway , E-Rod will be in the pen. Later in the series Price will as well.

I think he figures if he needs one, Rodriguez can work in a pinch.
