Let me guess, you're the guy who loudly points out the historical inaccuracies at the movie theater.
If my brother sees a firearm in a movie that is inappropriate for the era, he will just turn off the movie. One time he turned off a movie because the characters had six shooters at the time of the Alamo. Those guns were not around at that time. I think that's what it was, but I could be misrembering. LOL!

Only to those within shouting distance.

I'm all for ripping on inaccuracies, plotholes, or ridiculousness in movies (ask me about The Fugitive sometime), but there is a time and a place for it, and that time or place is either at home or during conversations with friends or at work, not while the movie is playing in a theater full of people who paid through the nose to watch the damn thing.

As an aside, the only movie I ever walked out of in the theaters was That's My Boy. I don't like Adam Sandler movies, but I went because we went as a group from work. I lasted about twenty minutes before I walked across the street to Wendy's and read a book while waiting for everyone else.

I thought that my lack of appreciation for Adam Sandler movies was a generational thing. Other than his brawl with Bob Barker in Happy Gilmore, I find nothing humorous in his movies.

Exactly. His first movie, Happy Gilmore, was a decent comedy, and he has made nothing but unwatchable garbage since then, coasting on the success of one film. A lot like M. Night Shaymalan, actually.

But with less unwarranted self-importance.

AGon has rediscovered the power that he lost in Boston. He has 5 Homers already. That is a fast start.

Maybe his shoulder is finally 100%. Sure took a while though.

70% of hometown Dodgers' fans are still f***ed for watching the game due to Time Warner's ongoing pissing contest with the other carriers over the $5 per subscriber per month demand. It's ridiculous that MLB is on Time Warner's side. Of course, they can't come out and criticize them for making such a ******** deal with the Dodgers to start with. Not with all those lovely billions of REVENUE being sucked up like soda pop. The message between the lines is f*** the fans - they're trying to get the fans to demand their carriers give in and start charging said fans the $5. That's not a winning strategy. Not so far, anyway.

ESPN spent a bunch of time discussing Lester and his problems throwing to first base and how it will effect the infield defense, etc.

How come this was never an issue in Boston?

I never noticed that he did not throw to first. Hmm.

More emphasis on the running game in the NL?

Maybe. But it does seem odd that this quirk was not exposed while he was with the Sox. There were plenty of times that he had a man on 1st and nothing of note happened.

I never heard one peep of his yips. Odd.

On ESPN last week, they were talking about this. Apparently Lester had gone all of 2014 without throwing a pickoff. It was something heavily dissected this offseason with his free agency, and teams have definitely caught on.

The other factor is that teams were probably afraid to run with David Ross as his personal caddy. Teams must have found out that Ross is old and not quite as good as he used to be.

The Cubs promoting Bryant? On the very day that he loses a year of free agent eligibility? What a strange, funny coincidence.

I cannot believe how many people have been surprised by this.

Random coincidences like this are always interesting to me.

The Cubs are promotiing Kris Bryant tonight. That should bring some excitement to Cubs fans.

It should help enhance the allure of the Cubs.

I see what you did there.

Hamels is another guy off to a rough start.

Tough to pitch for a shittyteam like Philly when you thought you'd be elsewhere. I bet he'd do better if he were traded.
