I saw it as Yankees228 quoting something he disagreed with, and respectfully refuting the point. Just because he took exception to what you were saying to Gom does not mean that he has taken Gom's side.

You definetly have to consider the "distraction factor" when it comes to A-rod. He's a constant story of failure in clutch situations and always in the headlines for something negative. I'm not a huge believer of team chemistry but there is always negative energy focused around A-Rod and that can't be good for him/the team.
