Anthony imo was never a question mark if healthy. Story has had a couple of good games but I am going to need to see more.

IMVHO, if we can skip Gray, we can skip Suarez.  At this point, we'd have to play really bad to not make the playoffs, or play really well to catch the NYY.  I'd probably skip one start for our top 3-4 SPs.

Because of the length of time Roman was out, he could be considered a great late season pickup.

Story annoys me on several levels, but I felt good for him tonight.  Even beyond a big win, I'm happy to see something go right for him.  And I think he felt the same way; seemed to be relishing the moment.

So could Crochet if he were able to come back as a bullpen guy because in the playoffs, games often become bullpen games in the 5th inning. With Miller, Guerrero, Whitlock and Chapman the Sox have a strong one so adding a guy like Crochet could be huge. He'd be a one inning guy.

Mono was running out of gas offensively, so it made replacing him with Story much easier.

I won't go so far as to say Story has proved me wrong, but I did enjoy him having 2 big games right after saying I hope he never plays another game for the Red Sox. I'd much rather see my players do well than be right to a bunch of strangers on a message board.

But I'm not quite ready to do that.  Again he made bad throws and he has had 2 productive offensive games, let's see how it goes.
