Great. But is he better than Duran?

10 times better, yes. Not even close.

Too bad the trade deadline is past, or Duran's valkue might be at it's highest point it will ever be after tonight.

Duran is going to strike out.  Why bother?

Those didn’t age well.

Seems the more we pick on Jarren, the better he does.

If my math is correct, in their last 53 games the Sox have a run differential of +106.

Have not checked, but that sounds impossible.

Another strong top 1.

The guys are just not much interested until 8th/9th which is their sweet spot

The Caleb Williams era.  Wake me up when it counts.

Remember when Monasterio got hits? That 5-game streak where he couldn’t stop hitting doubles…?

It's fascinating to watch.  Everyone in BB gets hot and cold.  But for the RSN, when someone like Money gets hot, the fans think he's great, until he's not.  Now it's Gaspar's time.

Named after Fats Domino.

Yup, I don't remember who said it, but someone asked "Are you like Fats Domino?" and the response was "No, I'm more like a Chubby Checker".  And the Beatles were named after the Crickets, which was incredibly audacious at the time.

More: we were -7 on June 24th. (6 games under Pyth, even then!)

We are +104 now, so +111 since June 24th. (Still 6 games under Pyth)

I just checked July + August, and it certainly does seem possible.  We had a Py W/L of .710 over those two months, against an actual record of .745.  So even if we were playing over our heads, we were still playing really well.
