Monasterio is fourth among AL shortstops in OPS with at least 243 at bats, .770.

Why in the hell do any of us want Story back?

165 AB, .547 OPS? I hope he stays injured.

Actually, as a member of the Sox he pretty much has stayed injured.

I wonder if Breslow will refuse any offer he receives for Duran during the off season? That's if Breslow is still employed.

This team is the equivalent of having a stripper as a girlfriend. Life had never felt better until you accept it as the norm. Then…? The team does THIS garbage.

You called it yesterday and you were wrong again.

Occasionally-rarely-I get it wrong. Hit the nail on the head today though. It was ovah at 2-0.
But hey! No worries! Story is coming back soon and Crochet….will be starting games again next year. So, the Flops mantra should be repeated over and over again: “just wait till next year “.

Now we just have to fix Rutchsman.

Rutschman isn’t going to be a great offensive player. I think he’s only about a career.250 hitter. He’s just better than what we have.

Theres like zero chance Breslow gets fired.  Zero.

He made the postseason last year, is on pace to do so again.  And did it all without any of those ugly long term contracts Henry clearly hates. In fact, he unloaded the biggest one in the process.

And this year, it’s been happening without his ace, his starting LF/DH, now his backup LF/DH, his starting SS, his starting 2b, and his 2nd and 3rd best bullpen arms, plus other various assorted nicks, bruises, sprains and strains.

Why on Earth would Henry fire him?

Sandoval Sux! Thank you, Capt Obvious. It's gonna be tough finishing the season with 2 good starters.

Sandoval isn’t the issue.  Not getting anyone when Bennett times out was a bigger deal.  Given their depth, I’m glad they still have Sandoval.

What bothers me more is having to rely on Holobetz or Paez or Wehunt…
