This is incredible, in the worst way possible. I keep thinking this team is going to get its head above water, and it just is not happening.

Same lineup as yesterday with the Great Gasper catching. Looks like he’s the new #1 catcher for the moment. Who saw that coming?🤔

I do like that Tracy is being consistent and not platooning thinking there is a magic formula.

Wong sort of holding his own, low bar  , at the plate, but Narvaez is lost.

No one can say that Mayer isn't getting a full shot at showing his (in)abilities hitting.  The defense is useful but like LF, the Sox have usually had competent hitters at SS , and 3B for that matter.

Welcome also !  Do not think in anyway that Tracy is making the lineup choice.  This is the work product if the Yalie and his staff of analytic savants.

Sox pitchers need to work on that first inning efficiency

Sox runners need to gain one more step when turning 3rd , heading home. 11 outs at home this year?

Sox pounding the Os at Fenway. both with actual  hitting and getting lucky at twilight.

Finally fun to watch at Fenway

Doubles Durbin doing better but still not threatening the Mendoza line.

I don't know where he got outside help but I am glad he did.

Care to post the contact number in the clubhouse, Caleb ?

He’s up to .194 he’s one 2 game hit away from crossing it.

Very good job by Tolle tonight. A very unique individual.

I think Tolle is dangerous when that cutter or sinker is working!!

Tolle and Early give us Sox fans a good feeling about the future of the Sox.

I think too many fans are impatient and not willing to give the youngsters the time to grow and develop major league consistency!!!

at some point, around August 1st, they are going to be closing in on their innings limits.
let’s hope crochet and Sandoval are back by then!

Sandoval "back"? We've never even seen his front.

Wait -- Sam Kennedy just spewed that Sandoval will be better than any other starting pitcher the Sox could acquire at the trade deadline. Or maybe he thought it; bet he has already typed it in a prepared statement for when reporters ask why Breslow only added a few DFAed relievers and DHs.
