MLBTR is reporting elbow surgery.

Since Cora was fired, Masa has started in 1 of 8 lineups as of tonight. 😃

The last time he started, he got a hit of Trey Yesavage.

It's a BP game, so my guess is that the RS are playing the matchups.

And PH'ed a bloop single yesterday .   But they are in injury prevention mode with masa in case someone wants to trade for him in July.     Seriously hard to figure out if the FO has any clue what they are doing with the $18MM man.

4 days rest between starts along with a pitch count and yet these starting pitchers are going down like crazy. Maybe it's time to raise the mound back to where it used to be before Bob Gibson.

Maybe that will help these fragile pitchers.
