He has been a 2 inning pitcher most of the season. You've been wrong most of the night.

Really?  Most of the year?   He threw 43 pitches as the most he’s thrown all year but yeah he’s a two inning guy.  He’s been the set up guy all year

Yankees havr all the advantage now. I think cora has pushed all the right buttons. They could not get the big hit and get a lead tonight.

s*** job by Bello and good job by BP. Story kept the Sox in the game.

I think cora has managed well in this series. This team just can’t hit. I would be surprised we won game 3 because our offense totally blows.

Cora has done an excellent job managing since Friday's win against the Tigers.

I noticed a different batting style by the two clubs. The Yankees were aggressively going after the first pitch more  often than the Sox. The Sox were taking more, perhaps trying to up Rodon's pitch count, but getting behind Rodon is a bad idea. It was a battle and a tight game thoughout. Duran's error (not called an error),Eaton's base running and Rafaela's inability to bunt all hurt the Sox tonight.

Yup it’s just this offense. Got two rookies starting tomorrow.

I think the only way the sox win tomorrow is if they come score some runs in the first 3 innings. Make the yankees play from behind.

Anything's possible. And of course I hope the Sox win. It would be great to ruin those knucklehead fans' day and month

Refsnyder, Duran ,and  Rafaela. The 3 big culprits right now ij this lineup. They have done s***.

Add the coaching staff-Hudson for not sending Eaton when he could have scored and Cora for asking Rafaela to bunt-I don't think I saw him try to bunt runners over all year-and for not putting Abreu in for Eaton in RF for defense-he might have thrown out the winning run at home.

But we were in the game the whole way and had our chances with a bunch of bench players, really-Sogard, Eaton etc. Now we will have to try to win with a rookie pitching tomorrow.

This loss comes down to 3 plays:

1. Duran's error

2. Rafaela's failure to bunt

3. Eaton's baserunning blunder. He needs to keep his eye on the ball as he is rounding 3rd. He should have been going on that all the way even if the throw was good. He was rounding third when Chisholm was throwing the ball. In addition, our third base coach SUCKS!

Regardless i feel cora has done a good job managing in this series. You need duran and rafaela to hit.

One thing I did change my mind about. It's fine by me if the Sox trade either Abreu or Duran. In fact, it's fine by me if they trade both.

Yes, but only if they get a good return. No give aways.

If they don’t come out scoring tomorrow this series is a wrap. They just can’t f***ing hit.

Overall, I agree. But you can't make dumb mistakes like asking Rafaela to bunt runners over when he hasn't done it much, if at all, this year. Also, he has been hitting fairly well. Can't ask a guy to be successful at something he never practices.

Crappy way to lose a game.

Grounding into 3 DPs set the tone.

We were out hit 10-6, but the game was still winnable.

those double plays just killed us.

Eaton's job is to keep his eye on the COACH, not the ball. The ball isn't in his line of vision. Thats Hudson's fault.

Some gifted athletes aren't coachable. I'd put Rafaela in that category.

For the 5th and last time Hudson was not the blame. He was waving Eaton home, but Eaton was looking at the ground and not at the 3rd base coach. OK, everybody got it now?
