Baseball America also just recenlty updated their top 100.

1. Roman Anthony

8. Marcelo Mayer

49. Payton Tolle

57. Franklin Arias

74. Brandon Clarke

88. Jhostynxon Garcia.

6 guys in the top 100 after recently graduating Campbell ain't too shabby.  You'd have to believe Valera is close as well and Perales could be in there if he was healthy

And in case you were wondering.

35. Kyle Teel

53. Braden Montgomery

I value Baseball America's list over MLB's, since the former's focus is predominately amateurs and minors.

MLB literally has Major League represented in its anagram.

Hey, MLB, where's Payton's Place? BA has Tolle better than half of your prospects!

The Major League Baseball top 100 is very skewed toward certain organizations and certain non success driven criteria ( like power over contact) . I rarely trust it.

Impressive! 4 in the top 60. (6, if we still had Teel & Monty!)

Uberstine is coming back down to earth.

Campbell seems to be finding his groove, again. He's getting on base more often than not, lately. (2-3 tonight going into the 8th)

I wonder if the Sox are making him throw mostly breaking balls in order to sharpen them up

regardless, early is ready to be promoted

Brannon hit his first dinger w POR, and Romero & Ehrhard both had 3 hits. Tibbs & Castor had 2 each.

Bleis homered (2-4) and Jo Garcia went 2-4 for GRE. Clarke went 2.2 (1H, 0ER, 1BB, 4K)

Fajardo got lit up w SAL.

He got up to 7th before the injuries and dropping out of the top 20. He was up to 6th, earlier this year.

Before the injury, he would foul off a lot of juicy pitchers and now they dropping for him, his babip must be rising post injury!!!?

You know what? I do too.  To me, I think BA is clearly a step above MLB.com but I don't think MLB is garbage either.

On the last soxprospects podcast they eluded to Tolle rising to #3 in the system.  Mayer and Anthony will not graduate for another month, so this means that when they do Tolle should be the #1 prospect in our system.

If nothing else changes we will have 6 of our top 10 prospects be starting pitchers.

Breslow certainly can't take all the credit but he's definitely helped continue and add momentum to the Sox initiative to improve the development of pitchers in the organization.

Grissom probably isn't in the system after this year.

I think we are going to end up being pleasantly surprised by more than just Tolle from our farm pitching in coming years.

times have changed!

We have a couple guys with amazing stuff, if they master command and control, they will be quality major league starters

At the risk of repeating myself, we have so many pitchers that fit this statement. I think the odds are very good at least 2 will do well in the big. I’m guessing 3+.

If it only were so easy...

It’s not easy, but a few do it. There is a very long list of great pitchers who struggled with these issues early in their careers.

we have a pretty long list of these guys in the minors and just need a couple to improve.

Yes, 2-3 as starters for sure. I’m taking AAA to DSL, so 4-6 years total.

Maybe Grissom has some trade value. When you see Eaton get the call over him, you know he can’t be worth much, although Nate plays 3B.

Nate plays better defense too!

Grissom would have fit in well with some of my 10U softball players at last night's practice. 🙃
