Is there any concensus that the Blue Jays will probably pack it in by trade deadline and retool for next year ? They got swept by us, then the Guardians this weekend. Nothing good going on in Toronto.

Need to watch out for the low ankle snakebite in this 3 game series.

I’m still in Cincinnati but would love to see us continue the pounding of the Jays. We have to be the only team in the league with two road sweeps in the division.

I’ve never bought into the Jays hype, but they did better than we did, the last couple years.

Last year was weird. I think we won the first 7 vs them but lost the next 8.

The CHAMPS are in the house! Glad to see the World Champion Celtics at Fenway. Cora’s a Big fan. Edited by Old Red

This team has to find a way and keep winning witn the birds and Yankees struggling right now.

The Red Sox aren’t fighting against the Yankees, and O’s for a playoff spot. It’s the KC’s, and Twins of the world. I hope the Yankees, and O’s win every game when not playing the Red Sox.

I'm not a fan of NBA, but kudos to the Celtics for having the best regular season record and winning the championship. Amazing how many times that doesn't happen in professional team sports.

In the NHL it's almost considered a curse.

Devers does deliver a gut busting key , 2 run HR. Hit it so hard that the recoil almost knocked him down. Important hit to support Houck's pitching.

Houck is giving up some shots tonight. Good thing he has a guy playing CF very well now. Needs to dodge the Turner bullet to hold the lead.

Duran saved a run by playing that long double perfectly off the CF wall. And he saved an earlier run with that great grab high off the CF wall. Rafaela gets better reads, I'm sure, but Duran is an asset in CF because of his speed and athleticism.

Two hard hit balls by the Sox and two easy outs in the 6th.

Dinger by Devers was huge.

Houck with 85 pitches in 6 innings and Bassitt with 82, but Houck struggled in the 6th. Given yesterday's 9 innings by the bullpen, it makes sense for Houck to start the 7th.

Abreu is displaying some of the difficulty in coming back off IL to catch up to good pitching. It takes more than a few games.

Concerned about Casas when he does get back whether he will be able to get right with the bat or will he favor his rib soreness.

Let him try to get the Jays out until he has a baserunner, unless by error.
