2 on base, Sox get a K and a foulout .

Don't overlook that despite the recent success, this team is playing with at least 4 guys in the lineup nightly who were not part of the plans to win this year. The BP's best pitcher other than Jansen was in the Mexican League last year before being found

So the SOX lost a Keller, but gained a Campbell. No question, SOX are gonna have to trade for BP help if they want to remain in contention. 6 reliable guys in the BP isn't enough.

Not when you use openers when the BP had already been worked hard, which compounded the situation.

Is there any concensus that the Blue Jays will probably pack it in by trade deadline and retool for next year ? They got swept by us, then the Guardians this weekend. Nothing good going on in Toronto.

Need to watch out for the low ankle snakebite in this 3 game series.

Teams on losing streaks can be as dangerous as teams on winning streaks. Both have to end it at some point. Timing is everything.

Note the snake bite warning !. At least this series should break the sweep streak. Why did you let Campbell come in ? That's why I say for Cora, it's Bullpen Roulette.

Except for Houck, the remaining starters are, imho, gonna average 5 innings. The SOX are not in the position to have 2 or 3 rag arms in the BP.

This is what happens when you use an opener, and use up so much of the BP. Criswell got sent down, and not brought back up, or someone else to start. Bad move all the way around. 🤭🙈🤮

You haven't heard about the dud liberation movement. You want guys on the active roster who never actually go out onto the playing field to show what they can do--or can't do. Cora doesn't work that way. Campbell will soon be liberated. And let's not forget that McGuire didn't help by putting a man on 1b via catcher interference. Likewise Hamilton on the horrible throw. McGuire also got the GIDP.

I guess Cora's choices were Mr Anderson, Campbell, or Wink. Hindsight is golden, but I would have gone with Wink. Lesser of 3 evils.

With McGuire’s catcher interference, he is now tied for the MLB lead in errors by a catcher with 6. He has played 33 less games than the guy he’s tied with.

You read it here first. When a Sox hitter steps out of the box, it's a sure sign he's about to do something stupid. Almost no exceptions to this rule.

Duran shows why players should run all hit balls out, and Hamilton makes them pay.

Easily my favorite player on the team. Hustles every play, and he’s pretty damn good while hustling too

His or Breslow's choice may have been to call up Criswell for that game and send Keller back earlier. But I guess you can rehash at least 60 games you are guaranteed to lose every year. The BP'ers did win the game but possibly at the expense of this one, so who gained ?

I certainly wouldn’t call Wink a lesser of 3 evils. He’s better than that.

McGuire may be Houck's personal catcher. I know they usually work well together.

Don’t really have a choice today with Wong on leave, but McGuire hasn’t been very good and makes a lot of low IQ plays

That fat f***ing 3Bman may have 3 hits tonight but he walks unless he is sure it's a hit. Maybe he couldn't have scored on Kiermieier but maybe he could show some hustle too.

He had no chance of scoring on that from first

Wong doesn't know that ballplayers are supposed to get their womenfolk pregnant during the spring/summer so the baby will come during the off season or ST. Wong got it wrong

Lucky for him he never had Dick Williams or Billy Martin for a manager.

It takes 2 to get it wrong.
