It's actually not blue. We are seeing the reflection of blue, because the other colors are absorbed. The sky is actually absent only the color blue as it reflects it.

:P

How about sunrise and sunset where we see vivid reflections of tangerine, magenta and all kinds of shades of grey.

Light is pretty awesome.

It's actually purple to dogs -- I have been told... but never by a dog.

One dog told me once, he was color blind, but I think he was racist.

Dogs also never lie. Unless there’s a sunny patch on a sofa…

O’s 98-64

Yanks 92-70

Rays 90-72

Jays 88-74

Sox 70-92

Sox could be that bad, but how can the Yankees possibly be that good?

Just last week, someone apparently hacked your user name and posted: "we cannot go into 2024 (a true all in year) with this rotation minus Cole"

I will not be shocked if we lose over 95 games next season.

If you think the O’s sucked in the past, wait to see this train wreck called 2024 Red Sox.

O’s take the division

NYY WC1

TOR WC2

TB Eliminated

Red Sox 67-95, this creates the precedent in order to sell the team for once and for all.

We are going to see the sunlight again (playoffs) next decade IF a new owner takes this team. It’s clear JH is done investing here.

The latter is my bold prediction.

They aren't selling the team. That makes no sense. The land around Fenway is too valuable. Henry is just not running the franchise properly. He still thinks he can run it like the 2002 A's and squeak out a WS every few years and maintain fan interest.

Do people truly believe Henry wants the team to tank and lose on purpose so he can sell the team?

This isn't a Charlie Sheen movie, that logic makes zero sense.

People can be irrational when it comes to their fandom.

That movie made zero sense...

In the movie, she's not selling the team, just using a clause in the lease she has with Cleveland that if attendance falls below a certain threshold that she'll move the team to Miami where they are sure to have great attendance.

But the whole premise that a woman wealthy enough to own a Major League franchise couldn’t afford a condo in Miami, especially if the team was winning and selling out games, struck me as a major plot flaw. And that’s ignoring how well Miami baseball teams clearly draw…

That's right, I had forgotten about that. Still, that movie is a classic, I think I may rewatch it tonight.

How does this Red Sox movie make sense?

Premise: billionaire buys ballclub, invests in roster upgrades, wins four World Series, then hires smart guys to do it on a much more limited budget, while he invests in many other sports toys. His new way doesn't work, but he stays stubborn in spite of squawking and pleading from thousands of customers, the media, his front office, his partners, uniformed management and his ballplayers.

Team still sucks, nobody is happy, and nobody wins -- except him (though that will never show up in the standings)... because he gets to stay stubborn, because he can... and never admit a mistake, because he can't.

It isn't only the land, the Red Sox are a cash cow. He is using Boston's cash flow and prestige as leverage to help attract investors in FSG to finance their expansion into other high cash flow ventures.

From a purely entrepreneurally perspective He is running the Red Sox brilliantly.

I always thought that movie was a ripoff of the much better Bull Durham. In fact, I would be willing to wager that movie was pitched with someone saying "The premise is we take the characters from Bull Durham, but this time, they're in the Majors."

To keep producing crappy teams that don't sniff the playoffs can't be the healthiest thing for the cash cow.

The housing market in SoFL is very volatile!

It's better than Bull Durham and Field of Dreams, that's for sure.

It's a horror movie.
