Red Sox probably bring in someone like Garza, he gives up 3. Red Sox score 2 in bottom half and leave tying run on 3rd

Goddammit. This is gonna happen isn’t it

If Cora putting Garza in the game was a shot at Bloom, it was successful.

Pretty much used the whole bullpen last night and tonight. Kluber pitching 2 innings was a much bigger risk than Garza in the 10th. Garza had his head up his ass. First FIUR batters he faced were BB, DOUBLE, HBP, and single.

Pretty pathetic that they can't win against s*** teams.

they need a sump pump to keep from drowning in the basement

It is ironic in the extreme that Daniel bard comes back to Boston with a baseball in his hand , and picks up 2 quick wins. The Bosox are becoming toast at home. Eventually Fredo will have to pay for his sins.

Then I sit corrected and would have no issue with Verdugo being benched again.

Of course, you can’t teach baseball IQ and Verdugo seems to be severely lacking in it. He’s not the only one in the team unfortunately in that regard.

You are touching on a point I have been thinking about with respect to our younger players. Do some of them have a reasonable level of intelligence , even if not post high school levels of education ? There are a few out there who may actually be in the shallow end of the gene pool, both in baseball IQ and general knowledge as well. I'll name names after they take the Wunderlich tests I sent them are graded.

That plus Seabold's performance in the first game.

Was that really a good performance from Seabold or just a bad one from the offense?

Garza is a fringe talent at best. The problem is the Sox pitchers in the upper minors, especially Mata (currently injured), Walter and Murphy have all simultaneously collapsed…
