I’m going to say something I haven’t said on over 3 years. But maybe, just maybe turning down Brusdar Graterol was the right move…

Everything is relative. Those 27 WS wins are the Yankees signature. It's plastered everywhere. It sets them apart from all other MLB teams and all other American professional sports franchises. So, when the Yankees go from from 2001 thru 2022 with just one WS, it's kind of a big deal for them.
And all of the last place finishes of the Red Sox since 2013 are a problem for us.

Yeah, it's like this one: "Whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger."

I do think people who experience tough times appreciate the good ones more than some fortunate people who take them for granted.

But then, don't forget, it's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's ... Hmm. Actually the big dog almost always wins.

Another Good night again by the offense, and another good win.

our guys are really trying hard if we can find a way to get some help, get rid of the dead beats and fill a few gaps we may have something that's above average. It takes a sharp GM to do this with an eye for players and that's where we are handicapped

Who would have thunk it that key players to the season so far would have been the likes of the Law Firm of Duran, Winkin, and Wong.

It is one crazy game.

I could have been sold on Wong and Winckowski (especially out of the pen), but would have been very dubious on Duran. What he's been doing is quite the turnaround.

Agree on Duran. Last year he didn’t even look like a minor league player let alone a major leaguer.

Especially considering the Sox haven’t played a single game against a team that’s in lower than third place…

You can actually build up some resistance to some things like cyanide, if you take small doses over a period of time.

Ha! I assure you, that in all his endeavors (violence not being one of them), that dog is undefeated.

I have no doubt. He looks like a champ.
