I figured Cora would rest Turner (DH is a tiring position), even though he's been in a groove lately, but also resting Dugo. Oh, well, we should all be used to this by now.

Maybe they can pay Bello big money to play well in the minors. They did it for Rusney Castillo for 6 years.

Frank Robinson was the only player to get MVP in both Leagues, first with the Reds and then with the Orioles.

 

Reportedly, when he got to the Orioles, he was highly regarded and used to conduct mock courts after games awarding penalties for misplays (some very minor, I think). Were Bello on that Orioles team, I think Frank would have not conducted his "kangaroo court" after a game like this. Too painful.

Hey, I remember he had one or more good starts last year. What I'm saying is that the Sox management blundered when they had him start today.
