Sale aside, who is the most likely expected regular ( SP/RP/PP) to go down with some limiting injury during ST, that although cleared up by end of April, affects their entire season in a nagging way ? I'm going with any of the World Baseball Classic competitors, with Kike leading the list, followed by Verdugo.

Verdugo has been an ironman. He might be last on my list.

I think the obvious choice is Arroyo, but I'm going with Brasier.

I just makes too much sense for him to go down, after so much gymnastics being done by management to keep him on the roster.

That’s a bizarrely specific question…

It's our specialization.

So which player is most likely to miss Spring Training after eating a tainted blueberry muffin at a restaurant with the name “Sally” in its name?

And which player will miss time after leading the team in alligator bites? How about python bites?

If we're only going on the 40 man:

Sale is the blueberry muffin guy.

Kutter Crawford from Okeechobee, FL is the obvious python injury guy.

The gator question is a trick question as they very rarely bite and are just scaly feral cats.

1. Scaly Feral Cats was actually the name of my band in high school.

2. Gators bite. Remember that kid at Disney? Not to mention I have to believe this fellow was able to get that big by snacking on far too many who didn’t get the true meaning to “water hazard”.

My school mascot is the "gators." Yes, they bite. One almost got my dog while we were walking in a park. Lucky, he was on a leash and I pulled him away.

Considering how many gator interactions there are on a daily basis in Florida, it's safe to say "very rarely bite" is apt.

I'm glad that gator was leashed! Someone was probably looking for him!

The leash went from around his neck back inside the gator’s mouth. So I assume the owner stopped looking

But I’m saying that Gatorsaurus Rex probably only needs one bite to eat a golfer whole…

A mama gator protecting her nest? Stay away. A male gator walking across the golf course? He's just looking for the 19th hole.

It's the first official day of ST. Cora and Bloom will have press conferences. 62 players will be in camp for now.

Duran has changed his swing again.

@alexspeier

First look at Jarren Duran swinging this spring. Hands are higher and leg lift is basically eliminated in what appears to be an effort to have a simpler, more direct swing.

You know it’s spring when Duran debuts his new swing…

The big change is the leg kick. He needs to be able to hit heat.

@MacCerullo

Chris Sale asked how his rehab is going. "No rehab man! I'm a real boy!"

Chris certainly seems to be in good spirits, at least.
