The funny thing is Ort may not pitch one inning in the bigs, this year.

 

He likely will, but I see just about everyone else on the 40 getting a look before him, except for maybe Murphy and Walter.

I think we'd see Ort before Mills. I think they want to tinker a bit with Mills before he shows up. They may even just keep Crawford and Winckowski down in AAA as starters and bring Ort up as a reliever.

I can see that happening. They may prefer trying Crawford and Wink as starters before Mata or Walter, so having them "stretched out" on the farm makes sense.

 

Although we technically have 6 SP'er on the projected 26, 4 are named sale, Paxton, Kluber & Whitlock with Bello probably on an innings limit.

There were a lot of hard hit balls, but he kept them in the park. However you feel about Winckowski is how you should feel about Crawford. They probably have the same feeling. Fringy rotation arm. Maybe can stick long term in the pen?

I’ll start the bidding with Jurickson Profar.

 

MLBTR had him in their top 50 at the beginning of the off-season. Some big spending teams (Rangers, Yankees) have question marks at his best position. He hit at the top of the order for a playoff team last year.

 

I think I’m mostly surprised the Rangers haven’t signed him, given their void in LF and that they shouldn’t know him quite well.
