Before you get too medical - and this is headed that way - none of this changes the requirements of Houck’s job, which involves pitching in places that require he be vaccinated…

The simple fact is they can't force him, so what's the point of debating it?

And again, why should the vax be required when it doesn't prevent transmission?

That's a question for my Prime Minister.

That’s not a baseball question…

To me the one interesting issue is that the Sox were able to force Story to get vaxxed as a condition of signing him, but they can't force a minimum wager like Houck.

I think the relevant baseball question for the Red Sox team is what compelled the first-place Yankees to make their entire roster eligible to play the Blue Jays in Toronto?

That would be every individual's choice on their respective teams.

It's all down to the individuals. Houck is the one holdout, unless you count Crawford.

Frail is it that group too.

Neither is yours, really.

That players shouldn't get vaxxed when it relates to their ability to play in Toronto? That is part of Houck's baseball job - pitching in Toronto...

So they chose the benefit of the team over their own personal choices? Is that supposed to be a good thing?

Or maybe they made their own personal choices regardless of the team. Who knows?

Because that type of thing is the sole purpose of Internet forums?

Internet forums are not reality.

Apparently not. Reality sucks, but Internet forums are horrible.

That sum it up?

Yeah, and why do we have laws against murder, since they don't prevent murder? Also why have any traffic laws, since they don't prevent speeding or running stop signs?

We had laws and rules about mask wearing but "muh freedumbs!!!"

Again, going down this path isn't a productive conversation and will only serve to get someone banned...
