You’re already one IMO.

I mean, I did get a 93 on the tax final in the fall, when the average was a 70, and I have gotten 100s on the first exam for both intermediate accounting II and cost accounting, but I'm not ready to say that. I'm still not positive I want to work in accounting, or even get my CPA.

The current thinking is to reschedule the missed games on the back end of the season. I'm guessing that will change based on the number of games that are missed, but they may be playing baseball until Thanksgiving or Christmas! LOL

Oof! Hate to be the Twins (and their opponents) if they had outdoor baseball in Minnesota in December. The University of Minnesota baseball team hosted some tournament at U.S. Bank Stadium last month, but that option would be off the table because the Vikings would be in the middle of a playoff push

Well I can't imagine how they could play games in November in some of those cold weather stadiums.

I'm guessing that the eventual call will be to just play a shortened season.

EXactly.

Two games every Sunday. You can be in and out in under 16 hours!!

Plus, don't forget, the teams will get half the income they would get by D/N doubleheaders. A win for everyone?

If this global pandemic wipes out 90% of the planet, at least the Yanks won’t get another pennant.

Ah, the bright side of Armageddon...

I don't know, but why take the chance? Let's do our part to get rid of the other 10% just to be sure. (I doubt we'll be much missed.)

We may not have the pitching, but how about our amazing trio of batters?

Where do the Sox rank among MLB’s best offensive trios?

Martinez: .304 AVG/36 HR/105 RBI

Bogaerts: .309 AVG/33 HR/117 RBI

Devers: .311 AVG/32 HR/115 RBI

The other 29 teams combined have 4 players who hit .300 with 30 HR and 100 RBI in 2019 (Arenado, Bellinger, Cruz, Rendon).

I hope we will have a season, SI says the Sox are a .500 team but I think they have the hitting to be a good offensive team. The pitching will be a problem but maybe we get lucky and find someone or 2,3 or 4 that will help out in that department.

Without Sale, I just can’t see this team being well above .500 without multiple breakout seasons.

Has there been any update on Sale? If he needs TJS, he should probably get on that pretty soon or else he'll miss part of next year too

I am hopeful that we'll have a good part of the season, and that the Sox will actually be pretty darn good.

I understand the sentiment that if Sale is going to need surgery, he should just go ahead and get it, rather than postponing the 'inevitable'. The thing is, I don't know that anyone is sure that Sale will need the surgery. If there's a chance that he won't need it, I think that he has every right to see that chance through. Less invasive treatments are always the first option.

Looks like everyone here was wrong!

Dang, not one person chose 66 or less.

So, in a 60 game season, how many wins will it take to make the playoffs?

I am going to go with an early prediction that the Sox squeak in with 33 wins. I am basing that off of mostly nothing, just my opinion.

My guess is we win less games, this season, than ever before.

Going out on a limb, here. (LOL)

44-16. Previous low is 43 wins.

I'm praying for 40, but I'd be okay with anything over .500. Don't think 40 would be enough for the postseason though. Since everybody only plays a third of the teams in the league, there's not going to be as much parity as past years. Astros and Yankees could both go undefeated, theoretically
