Get back to us after the Yankems win the WS.

A healthy Houston team that is hot would be a very tough match for the Yankees..... That would actually be a fun series to watch come playoffs.

or the Dodgers.

Why is this person consistently visiting this forum? The Skanks are having a good year thus far.. ok, good for them.

Why would any Red Sox fan give a damn about discussing it? On a gameday thread no less, lol. Baffling.

He's probably a closet SOX fan.

Because he is a troll who should be ignored and not responded to by all Red Sox fans here. Maybe then he will go away. He certainly was no where to be found during last year's ALDS when the Sox kicked the Skankee's ass.

Shocking that the umps were clueless. They were led by the worst ump in baseball. But looking at the box score, the correct substitution occurred.

The pitcher, Kolarek, replaced the 1b when he went to 1b. In doing so, the DH was nullified and the new pitcher occupies that spot. They eventually got it right, but it took long enough

Jacko is generally a well mannered poster who understands that he is posting on a Red Sox forum. He is far from a troll. I recall that after we won it all last year he was in here congratulating Sox fans on a great year. I also think that in general he is a knowledgeable baseball fan. He is not going away, nor should he. There are too few Yankee fans here to rag on when they lose, and they have certainly lost a lot of games over the past three years.

Ultimately the protest will go nowhere, since it had no material affect on the outcome of the game. That's the proviso that MLB uses to get around technical violations that don't really amount to anything.

However, there may well be some clarification in the rule book and/or case book to codify what should happen in these situations.

He was AWOL after predicting the Yankees would beat the Sox in the ALDS. Had an ABP out on him. He shows up if the Yankees are beating the Sox or the Sox are losing to anyone else. Loser.

Until someone else takes the trophy from our cold dead hands we ARE the reigning World Series Champs.

Exactly my point. It’s not really living in the past when you’re currently the defending champs.

You’re lying again. Look in the mirror dumbass

When you HAVE the trophy its called living in the present. When your team last won it all 10 years ago thats called living in the past. But its all Yankee fans have at the moment, isn't it.

True

Seems that Teddyballgame has an ax to grind and isn't going to be deterred by the truth. I think its possible to hate the Yankees without hating every Yankee fan ever hatched.

What was wrong with this crew? The rule is ridiculously simple: once the pitcher takes any position other than pitcher, you lose the DH. Thus, the 9 guys you have on the field? Those are the 9 guys in the order. The new pitcher obviously has to bat where the 1b who left the game was batting. It's hard to believe a MLB umpire crew would not be able to figure this out, even with help from NY!

There are more than enough s***** Yankee fans to rant about too. He’s been a decent contributor on here for a long ass time. Yes, Jacko can be insufferable at times, but so can everyone else on here.

Except for me. I’m the good one.

Idiot Cash doesn’t even know the rules and apparently neither did the umpire crew. What an embarrassment. LOL

Well as screwy and three ring circus as I think this is and how much more sense it likely made to just leave Morton who was kicking our asses in for one or two if not three more outs in the 8th, Cash has done this before without all the hoopla and did it last year for that matter. The more we finally get something from the particulars on this I suspect it was Angel that f***ed this up. How much of a shocker would that be!

jacksonianmarch is that rare poster who remains loyal (but not uncritically so) to the Yankees but is somehow able to criticize the Sox without being offensive. He likes to talk and argue about baseball players, teams, salaries, you name it--just like many of our talksox posters. He is opinionated, knowledgeable, and insightful, but never obnoxious.

I like Jacko, but I don't believe there is such a thing as a Yankees fan who is not obnoxious.

It stinks to not be able to complete the sweep, but if you told me before the series that we would win 2 out of 3, I'd take it.

Good series.

He seems obnoxious to me..... Maybe I have a short memory but I just don't recall him being on the board much the last couple years, of course because the Yanks are having a good season and the Sox are struggling he seems to be posting a ton and generally seems cocky about the Yanks.... That is what makes me not like opposing fans. I am on the Houston Texans board and I am not arrogant what so ever even though the Colts own the Texans. Jacko is definitely an intelligent person I will give him that, but he is still irritating.

Sox gained 1 game on last WC, by winning 2 out 3.

We have to play the Yanks with urgency.

A's play Texas

Guardians play another Cupcake, against KC.

Winning yesterday would have helped with the A's losing. Missed opportunity.
