After 6 innings, Jon Lester was at 104 pitches. The Cubs tied up the game at 3 -3 in the top of the 7th. With 2 out, Maddon sent Lester up to bat in the 7th. I switched channels figuring that Lester would make the 3rd out which he did. I switched back to the Cubs game to see Lester throw the 7th inning. A lefty was on the mound, but it was Phil Coke who relieved Lester after 6 innings without Lester throwing a pitch in the 7th inning. What!

Jeeze, KC, cool it. That's what, 2 brawls in a week with 2 different teams? You're quickly shaping up to be the favorites of fans who like an old school, rough, tough, defiant mindset but there's a limit.

Ventura is a little bitch. Smack talk because of a one hop comebacker??

Always a headscratcher when managers do that.

Two things:

1. Maddon is an idiot.

2. The Allure of the Cubs is too strong for you to stay away.

Lol! Plus Lester is on 2 of my fantasy teams.

Yep, thankfully I don't have him in all of my leagues.

Yeah, I haven't been to pleased with any of my SPs at all. I thought I had a good crew of Harvey, Bumgarner, Lester, Gio, and Carlos Carrasco.

Bumgarner, Lester and Carrasco will be very good. Gio is a WC. Unless his control improves, he's toast.

Has this become a problem? Lol!

Not yet. I have no interest in it, and it baffles me how people get so invested in fantasy leagues without even having any money involved in it. Just another time-wasting phenomenon of the internet age. But to each their own, obviously. I burn tons of time on baseball forums so I'm in no position to criticize.

So f*** this Sondergaard (sp?) Mets pitcher. My "pathetic 9 to 5 job" helps pay your salary, assface.

What did he say or do and where can I find it?

Watching Matt Harvey completely destroy the Yankees today was just awesome. I wouldn't be surprised if the Mets are the best team in New York for the next couple years or so.

Wishful thinking. Mets are playing out of their minds right now but it won't last. Wheeler was a devastating blow to the rotation. Harvey is good, but I don't know he can carry them on his back the whole season, coming back from TJ. He can only start every 5th game. You also don't know what you'll get from David Wright nowadays, when he can actually stay on the field.

Considering the direction the Yankees are going, it's possible. You're over-analyzing this one.

Salty DFA'd by Marlins today.

That's too bad. Things just did not go well for him in Miami since starting out with injury.

Cardinals' starting pitching has been redic but losing Wainwright might be a fatal blow to their championship hopes.

f*** the Cards and their pretentious fans.

They now become the favorites to get Cole Hamels while Cherington sits in his office with his finger up his ass.
