  1. That's because Red Sox fans like us take it hard. Reminds me of what some Sox fans I know who told me before I came on board in 2000 that you didn't understand Red Sox fans unless you were one of them. Believe me I know now!!!!!!!!! They almost make you lose your appetite and zest for enjoying the rest of the day. One of these years, though, we will rule baseball again. We just have to believe that.
  2. I think I mentioned that culture of losing thing as well, and it sure seems we have been infected with it. It is very hard to take Spud. And I have to go to Boston next month to watch our team play the Yankees. If I could get my money back I would go for it in two shakes of a monkey's ass.
  3. Can you believe what that kid wrote? I should have probably been a little more patient, he being a high school jackass, but he lives in some dream world and actually believes this team is going to recover. We all wish it would, but we all know that will not happen as long as we have dipshits like Ramirez and Sandoval gumming things up. Sorry Israel if I promised you a better day today....I actually thought we would win this time.
  4. Read what the rest of the posters have written today you slimly little s***. You're so f***in' wet behind the ears you're like a four pound pile of s*** in a one pound bag. You told people you had me on ignore---well keep me on ignore and stop pestering me with your adolescent ********. The only reason you can't follow my logic is because you're an immature high school *******. The team stinks......that understood? They stunk last year.....that understood? If you were around in 2013 you little douschebag you would have seen plenty of positive vibes from me and those of us who are tired of seeing a loser. No wonder you didn't play on your school's baseball team. Your coach would have probably run your little ass off the ball field. Now get lost and don't ever respond to any of my posts again.
  5. Yesterday I was ganged up on by lard ass and his merry band of dorks........but I don't see them anywhere in sight today, do you Israel. If they were around they would see fans who are pissed off and are tired of hearing lame excuses why our team is a pile of s*** again this season. We saw two of them today---Dumb Ass Ramirez and Fatso Sandoval. Hey Prune Face, can you get rid of these two scumbags?
  6. I just cannot stand to watch these bums anymore. Anyone still think the signing of Fatso Sandoval and Dumb Ass Ramirez were wise moves. DAR never won anywhere he's been and was a cancer in two other places, this being his third, and Fatso is a disgrace to Red Sox baseball. These two make us even shittier than we were last season....if that is even within the realm of possibilities. No excused my friends---this team simply stinks and Farrell and Cherington are mainly responsible for this disgusting state of affairs. The sad part is that we're stuck with these dogshits for few more years.
  7. He cost us a run and could cost us the game----and who tried to send slow footed Napoli in. Now except for the ball washers, the rest of us know why this team sucks from the head down. Hanley has always been a stupid ballplayers. In LA they always moaned about his base running blunders and his defensive indifference and now we're seeing it here. What a royal f*** up---and no one said anything when he went to the dugout. His ass should have been chewed out by someone. Does this team even give s*** anymore?
  8. Unless we get wrecked by Fatso being in the lineup against a LH pitcher. What is he 2 for 50 batting right handed this season? And Farrell puts him in the lineup? Let's hope your fear of Mauer wrecking us doesn't come to pass and that mine about Fato killing rallies doesn't either. We need to win this series.
  9. ER and Clay may have given our staff a needed shot in the arm and I know Miley wasn't much at fault for the debacle Saturday in Texas when the roof fell in on our defense, but I'm believing that our offense may be in need of more TLC than our pitching----torpedoing that canard that 700 Hitter and I agree on everything. It is surprising as well as irritating that Cherington gave Fatso Sandoval a five year contract when his power and production had been in decline four straight years. Now it seems to have cratered completely, and when Hanley has a negative WAR even with his dozen homers it is cause for just a little concern, don't you think. Perhaps if Papi and Nap could just catch on fire a lot of this offensive woe could cease, but until that happens we are going to struggle.
  10. One Achilles heel has been all the soft contact most of our hitters have made this season. Aside from Betts who hits in miserable luck and maybe one or two others we haven't even hit the ball hard consistently. Personally I think we have until the end of the month to get our s*** together, otherwise we are looking down a deep cavern---and someone in the organization is going to have to fall on their sword.
  11. The best thing lard ass is to say nothing. You started this flaming s*** with your personal attacks. And it isn't depth fodder when a turd like Peguero gets into the starting lineup. Why the hell was he in there anyway last night when Hanley had come off the first game with two hits and good production? And why was Fatso in there when we won the first game without him?
  12. What a way to start the day----with all this bad news about how we're doing. Truth sometimes stings, but Bogaerts has been a very pleasant surprise and I think Betts will get it going very soon. I'm puzzled about DeAza and Peguero. I wouldn't be if they were sent down or kept on the bench but Peggy was in the lineup last night and both of them are total rejects from other teams. Are we so putrid that we have to take on other teams' excess garbage?
  13. As 700 Hitter put it, "it is a terribly constructed team". There are some who don't want to accept that around here but it is June and still we aren't hitting. It could be Chil Davis' fault or it could be that Cherington over valued what he got last winter. Did you see Panda at the plate last night? His gut was so big and hanging over his belt that it was a shock that he could get his bat around without his elbow bashing against his belly. And Bell, it looks to me that perhaps Castillo may not be worth anything near the $72 million they plunked down for him because he looked terrible yesterday and hasn't shown any kind of power whatsoever. OTOH, Bogaerts is coming around, and I really think Betts will do the same---and we need to keep Swihart in that lineup because you don't improve sitting on the bench while a journeyman with no future with the team gets most of the at-bats. I did, however, like the way Leon handled ER in the first game. He does seem to handle the staff well, but we need hitting and must put our best men in the lineup. Maybe today we have a good show.
  14. Well that's what he said----he also said he could lift and bend four skinny prunes like me while I couldn't come close to him in that regard. I will give him that. Then I would take the guy out to the track and race him 50 yards, 100 yards, 220 yards, 440 yards, and a mile and leave his fat ass so far behind that he would be eating my dust while munching a hamburger. See you tomorrow my friend. I think it will be a better day for all of us.
  15. Watch it Ted----that statement of yours can get you attacked from some of the ball washers I've dealt with tonight. Fortunately there only about a half-dozen of them and like empty barrels they make the most noise, and we all know some of them don't know s*** from shinola. Admittedly, the game tonight really got my Italian up. I was convinced we had turned a corner in he first game, and this time I will say I was stupid for believing that. Well, maybe we can all feel better tomorrow.
