I never too excited about these things, for a couple of reasons.
The payroll number will be one of the driving factors. If we spend $263,999,999, we're getting some good players. They might be HR hitters, they might great glove/good bat players, or they might the #2 SP I want. But we will get some good talent.
Most of what we do in here is fantasy baseball. A lot of educated guesses, but still guesses. I like Okamoto & Kim. I might even be more right than wrong, but it is still my amateur opinion.
And as I always mention, there are a dozen ways to build a team. Paying a high price for Greene will make us a great team. Paying a lesser price for Marte will make us a very good team. Paying for Okamoto & Kim, and keeping prospects, will make us a very good team. We could trade either Duran or Abreu, or any of our 6-10 SPs, or Campbell and acquire some good talent.
