It's really funny to look at movies where alternate actors were taken. Sometimes they aren't available, but sometimes the takes are so bad after a few weeks, that they just have to change the actor.
It's not onerous, but too much for a backup catcher. For us, $15M*2, plus a team option, is not a lot. The Braves should have to kick in some money, but even maybe $10M and I'd trade for him in a heartbeat.
I left off Mayer from the list just to make up for guys that might have over-performed. I did the entire projection at one point and we came in about #13 overall.
I've been saying this all year. The problem (and it isn't even remotely close) is not the 2026 acquisitions, but the guys that were already on the team.
Same here. Part of being a fan 'should be' about hope. 3 weeks is a long time. I'd give them that much leash, but could always change my mind if there was a Godfather offer out there.
The issue with those two guys, and many others mentioned, is that they are lefty. And every discussion in the off-season revolved around acquiring RH bats.
There were two Laws and both of them were pretty far out there. He must have been up half the night typing sometimes. I'd log in and see page after page of 500-1000 word rants.
