C'mon guys. Be nice.

Hard to do with all the constant lies, misrepresentations and prevalent idiocy.

I'm not the only one who calls him out, but my problem is I can't let it go. I'm not going to blame my OCD, because I can control it, when try hard enough. For some reason, I don't want to try on this one. That's on me. I admit I make it worse and keep it escalting.

I'll apologize to the board for this but not to the resident clown. He actually deserves much worse than what I throw his way.

I won’t give you my side of the story, but if I did it would be a Lot different than MOOn. I also guarantee if an independent third party analyzed all the post his opinion would be a lot different than MOOn also. I’m not calling MOOn a liar in the true sense, because I think he truly believes what he regurgitates out. I’ll only say it all started when I had first come on here, and made a comment that i wouldn’t have hired Cora back, because of his role in the cheating scandal, and MOOn jumped to the wild wrong conclusion, and called me a hater. Finally if everyone had a dollar every time MOOn apologized to the board everyone would be rich.

Listen to yourself and actually read my posts.

I often say "I could be wrong," and if I apologize so much then how can I seemingly believe what I "regurgitate?"

Oh, and by the way, you always were a Cora hater. You even admitted it, later.

But in Boston, you have to be an All Star with MVP votes rookie year or youre a bust…

It's gotten worse.  Guys like Yaz wouldn't be considered a good player by today's RS.  First four years:

.271/.371/.433/.803   126 OPS+

.293/.370/.448/.818   121 OPS+

Almost no doubt Red would've booed Yaz.

A real suspect.

That know-it-all, never-admits-he's-wrong, moonslav would have called him a "glorified platoon batter."

.699 v L in '61

.742 v L '62

,738 v L '63

.693 v L '64

.646 v L '65

.584 v L '66

.897 in his triple crown season

.682 CAREER!!!! What a bum.

Maybe Red would have called him Yuzbumski, until 1967, then he'd say he was always his biggest supporter.

There is a reason I'm posting this here and not the Realistic Thread:

Story & Duran (+$26M) and Primera, Godbout & Valera for Otto Lopez

I'd slot Lopez at SS, but he could move to 2B, if Arias wins the SS job. That would move the poor defensive 2Bman, Mead, to DH.

We save a little money along the way and get to keep Arias & Gonzales.

Saving $$ will make JH happy

Except that:

  • RA (.803) replaces Duran (.627)
  • AR (.753) replaces Narvaez (.535)
  • Mead (.709) replaces Mayer (.594)

Obviously we are much, much improved from the team that started 2026.

yeah get the WS rings ready.  Over/under on RA and AR playing 100 games

Know it all? One thing I do know I NEVER use OPS, so break it all down, and then we’ll have a discussion. A know it all vs I THINK I know it all like a Man Behind The Curtain. You can have a OPS after 1 game, but it doesn’t mean it will all add up to a whole heck of a lot. Baseball talk, or constant name calling? So much for you apologizing to the board again yesterday that didn’t mean a thing. You have really stooped to a new low bashing Yaz to try, and make a comparison  to little A. Sounds like a HATER to me who has lots of DISDAIN. Sounds like ORDS.🙈🤭

Almost no doubt? Way to young to have done that, so there was NO chance at all.

I doubt that’s where it started.  Ive said the exact same thing about Cora on multiple occasions, and spent a year talking s*** about Bregman for the same reason.  No one ever called me a hater…

MOOn can verify that if he wants to be honest about it, and yes he’s apologized for it, but the point always was why jump to that conclusion in the first place.

You didn’t apologize to the board yesterday? Hollow as it was, and you still keep it going. The only thing you constantly get right is you can’t help yourself, and you have to get the last word in.

Doesn't matter how many weeks/months I take off from this place, I can always count on Moon and OR going at it when I come back. Must be exhausting for you guys.

We all disagree, often, just let it go. No need to keep this animosity up. Why are you both so determined to keep it personal, and relentless?

Most say it’s unlikely he gets claimed and the DFA is only to open a 40 man roster spot.  None got this Plsn from the Sox, and most likely it was speculation by one podcaster that got repeated by others…

Sean McAdam mentioned it on his podcast and maybe in a column. It makes more sense to do that AFTER he's burned through all of his options.

No s***.

He waltzed through the lower minors but then couldn’t sustain his immediate impact.

I think people think he's a bust because he debuted for two months, got a big extension and then got buried in AAA with mediocre stats for over a year and a half.

25 799 OPS

26 763 OPS

His glove isn't his carrying tool and his stats aren't getting better.

One theory I heard was the Red Sox rushed, and handed him the 2B job to stop the talk of Bregman going over to 2B.

And again, more evidence mounting.

Bregman at 3B should have been the number one plan.

It makes more sense to me that they rushed him to prove to the doubters that their development infrastructure worked. D'oh.

He had a good April. He had a bad May after his rib injury. I think ultimately his terrible defense is what got sent him back to AAA.

True. I doubt his offense would have been sustainable had he stayed, though, unless somehow he did better in the bigs than he did after his demotion to the farm.

I wonder how he'll do this season.

And I don’t think he’s any closer coming back to Boston than when he left.

A lot of people want to look at a few highlights or take a small sample size to show that he could be ready. Overall, he's the same guy he was when he was sent down. There really hasn't been much development. They've changed his swing. It didn't help him pull the ball. He's an OF only guy now and still takes weird routes on balls. IDK. I want him to figure it out. Some guys just reach their ceiling earlier than we'd like. He hits the ball hard, but just can't pull it or get it in the air. He also has a lot of in zone swing and miss (31st percentile AAA) and k's a lot (27%, 27th percentile). He's like a poor man's Roman Anthony with the GB rate, BB rate and decent EV, but the other stuff is just rough and it would be really bad moving up to MLB. He'd be a singles hitter k'ing 32% or more.

I think with him running out of options, it's more likely we see him this year than we did last year.

rushing him to the bigs is one thing, but the fact they gave him the BIG extension truly has me questioning the competency of this FO.

I don't think any of the extensions were really necessary TBH. This is a team that should be able to afford to keep these guys. It really is only adding an extra 2 years after ARB IF they turn into superstars. Aside from Crochet, these guys haven't shown that ceiling yet. Anthony has had his moments here and there, but IDK.  None of the other guys really needed the extensions to protect them from ARB increases or reaching FA.

I imagine his breeze through the minors and his extremely favorable scouting reports and rankings factored in at some point.

I do think the Sox tried to mess with his swing, which odds something they really need to stop doing…
