Throttle is defined as choke. So going full choke was not a lie.

Feel sorry for Gray, Tolle

The pitching has been excellent all year. This year is proof that pitching and defense only carries a team so far. You still need to be able to hit the baseball

[dannycater]

Don't want Schwarber, Bregman, Devers, Alonso...you want no stars this is what you get in postseason..Phillies saved season because 2 stars hit big bombs

70 pitches and we are removing our best P???  WTF !!!

[SPLENDIDSPLINTER]

The Sox were great for about a month and a half. The other 4 and a half months they were either bad or mediocre. I'm guessing the 4.5 month team is the real team.

[vegasbob]

Pulling Gray for Miller , regardless  of outcome, is inexcusable.  That call must be coming from Brez

[dannycater]

down 1-0 is insurmountable lead, now let's bring in Miller of course

[Deja Doh]

Tracy is stupid.

This is totally unacceptable. The fans really need to boycott the park next year

This is the new MLB. And you're right, it is unacceptable.

[Deja Doh]

Who made the call?

[dannycater]

FIRE TRACY

[Bagwell Anderson]

Tracy doing his best to make the pitchers suck too

It's Groundhog Day.

[Randy Red Sox]

Nice damn move Tracy !!!!

[vegasbob]

Miller can suck azz with the best of them.

[dannycater]

THIS IS BEYOND THE WORST MANAGING, STARTING WITH JONES BATTING LEADOFF AND LEAVING MEAD ON BENCH, LEAVING CROCHET IN PEN....YOU GOT GUYS, SEASON ON LINE, LET'S BRING IN BP MILLER

[Deja Doh]

Is Breslow or some other bean counter deciding to lose the series?  Tracy should be fired before the 6th inning.

[dannycater]

Eaton at least has heart, few do today

It’s 2-0

The game was over at 0-0. I’m done watching these bums. TV off. But hey! Just wait til next year-right?

[iortiz]

Tracy chickens again and shits the bed. It’s likely over folks.

[Deja Doh]

Both Duran and Anthony couldn't make the throw Eaton did to throw out Rice.

[SPLENDIDSPLINTER]

Great throw by Eaton.

[JimEd]

why does this dumb motherf***er take out Gray. i guess the stupid sonofabitcht thinks he's saving him for the next game.

[Deja Doh]

Fool me once shame on you.  Fool me twice shame on Breslow.

[dannycater]

Someone was defending Miller, saying he's just having a bad stretch...wtf? He was lights out for a month, then the mojo ran out...he's been trash since, you do not bring in that piece of s***...he gave up 2 straight hits and game over.

[dannycater]

Jahmai still in game?

How the heck is a 206 hitter, barely AA, hitting lead-off? What have they done to the game I loved?

Welcome to Talk Sox!

[Deja Doh]

Why is Jones even on the team.  This is beyond desperation.  A pitcher would be better.

[vegasbob]

There does need to be an explanation for Miller.

The BP rotation is usually worked out pregame depending on situations  and I am sure Brez is part of it

[Bagwell Anderson]

In the 26 straight inning s without a run dating back to last year lThis team has 10 hits.  10.  10!
