Burgos only had 4 saves in his entire pro career prior to this season. He now has 2 for the Boston F'n Red Sox somehow.

I pretty much agree Contreras would help but not save the Sox.  

On the other hand, Anthony just might.  What a game!  I said the Sox were dead, dead, dead--but it was a little early to look for change in their pockets.  

Breslow definitely blew it on getting hitters, but you gotta love the Sox pitching.

Will wonders never cease.   The Sox hitting/scoring was beyond moribund, but 22 year old Anthony decided to fix that.

The pitching has been outstanding all year. But at the end of the day you also need to score runs. I think one more top flight hitter-and better luck on the health front-and we could have contended. 
Im not worried about RA. He’s too good to be a less than average hitter. I think that next year he’s a ..800 OPS guy.
