I still can't believe they played in Boston yesterday and have to play in California the next night.  MLB schedule is absolutely brutal on the players and coaches.

Take advantage of the weak A's and rip off about 4 wins in this series  to remain solid in the ALE race.  

Tolle for 5 and Bello for 4, OK . Better have a good lead, although Bello is not giving up very much at all in his bulk relief jobs.

Agreed. We gotta smoke 'em. The A's are struggling and just lost Langeliers. They do have some big bats, so let's see if we can quiet them enough to win.

The A's are:

4-19 since June 27th

6-23 since June 20th

That's even worse than the Sox were a while back.

They once scheduled an Oakland game the day after a Sunday night Yankee game.  Game over by 12, maybe at the airport by 2:00, 5 hour flight, and a 3 hour time change, and an hour to the hotel/check-in makes it close to noon.  A couple of hours sleep and they had to play.

I believe his innings pitched may be showing up. I think we all knew this could be a potential problem with the rookie pitchers.
